Is the clutch still dead light then? Just all revs quicker! Did you ever try doing any launches at all?

Aye, clutch is still very light. Has a slightly lower bite and a much stronger and more positive bite.

Only did a few launches, just ended up in tyre smoke  clutch is great though..

Have a word with John, he's a milltek and blueflame dealer. Unless your going for something else? Mental how a decat can be 350, it's just abit of pipe! Think my milltek decat downpipe was about 170 quid :D

Blueflame have closed down and are re-opening with a new name in a week.....

I might have a word with John after xmas, will see how the funds go.

The ED30 standard exhaust is 2.5" so a urated one will be like 3", thats where the price comes in...

Flywheel cleaned up and a starting figure ;)

Should have a nearly new exhaust manifold coming too that will be getting some work done to it. Just need to order all the relevant gaskets first though!

Should be getting injectors Monday and should be sorting out a 3 inch maf so I can use the housing too. Just keeping an eye out for a decent ko3s turbo. I know itl be getting all new everything basically but I want a good example to begin with for piece of mind

Haa thought I got mine cheap! Still need to get mine when mates free etc just ordered all the hoses and got lcr maf off eBay fairly cheap. Just need to buy new air filter and thatl be everything ready to go except the turbo itself lol in no rush though, spent loads the past few months :(

With your diff mate, did you order the wrong diff so needed the new pinion gear or whatever it is? Or did you order the right diff and still needed it? Remember you saying it was 1600 all in but what was breakdown of that price, if you don't mind me asking? Can pm if you want? Just tempted to get a diff before going hybrid as I'll have my new flywheel and clutch set-up just sitting about!

I'm not gonna do rods as it's a full head off job and whilst that's off you may aswell get all the fancy stronger valves, springs, retainers etc etc and have the head ported. Then may aswell get fancy pistons whilst your changing the rods. Just gets mega expensive :(

Cheers mate, its getting there! Currently struggling whether to stick the hybrid on hold and get a diff sorted first!

Hmm i've heard a lot off good things about the hybrid! What sorta power do you think you'l get with it? Did you notice a vast increase when you mapped your FR?(plannin on getting mines done after winter)

Coming on well scott :D

Cheers mate :)

Anything between 270-280 and 280-300ftlbs torque I'll be very happy :D

Think I'll be doing the diff first now, been speaking to some people, waiting on quotes back and I'll get saving haha there's a few options around it so trying to find one with a good balance of cost, effort and value sorta thing.

Then hybrid will come after that and it should be an absolute weapon. Just intend to leave it and collect parts over winter. With the weather setting in I won't even be able to experience the hybrid haha

My fr already came with a map on it but wasn't switched on, the difference is light and day with the stage 1 map on the diesel fr :)

Got the standard manifold through from Barnsley last week along with all relevant gaskets from David at Sere motors.

Got it all clean in the hot wash at work and rubbed the mating surfaces down, all nice and straight as expected so won't get anything skimmed. Left it with my boss to port, told him no rush at all though so not sure when this will be done, won't need it for months anyway haha also expecting my hose bits and lcr maf next week and injectors getting picked up towards end of the month. Will have a big pile of bits ready for the hybrid next year. Got an air filter in mind too that I'll purchase as and when. Also going to think about relocating the battery so I can get better airflow etc that will come last though.

Pics of manifold, pretty boring haha

Still firing enquiries around for the diff so will hopefully see how that pans out soon, set for doing this before more power! Flywheel and clutch setup should be done by next weekend so that will go on when the diff finally happens. Hopefully will have enough for the diff once all xmas prezzies are bought next month!
