Got the Cobra Monaco Pro seats fitted. After making up rail adapters myself using steel bar and steel spacers, along with high tensile nuts and bolts, they're in! Not to everyone's taste, but I was bored with so much plain black so fancied brightening things up, got these seats cheap because the FIA date had expired in Feb 10. They match the whole black/blue theme of the car.

I'm in the process of making a boot floor cover, it will either be carpeted or done in 3M di-noc carbon vinyl.

I am considering fitting an OMP bolt-in roll cage as I am going to return to doing trackdays. :D

Rear tensioners still in?

Not the seats i would have gone for, but you cant argue with them if you got them cheap.

3" harneses would have looked better imo too.

Yeah. Bottom line is I've owned the car for 7 years and it's been a road car all that time. I hardly use the car on the road or for anything else (2001 car with 43k on the clock!), so I had to give it a purpose, something fun and exciting, I rebuilt the engine to be strong and now it has some real power, so it was time for a change and use it properly.

Oh wow, having major second thoughts about this now.

After going for a long run down some country roads, I have made my car alot more noisy and uncomfortable! :( The bucket seats really hold you in place, you really don't move which makes cornering alot safer and easier, but you feel every bump in the road and the road and exhaust noise seems 10x louder now! The cushioning is alot less on these seats, hence feeling every bump through the base of the seat. I knew they'd be less comfortable but they are alot less. :cry: Maybe I'm getting too old.

I don't know, a big part of me wants to refit the interior and sell the Cobras. :shrug:
