Some more searching and that button you can buy from VW as its a Windscreen Heater putton for the New mkv...

Saying that a Fancy switch and 2 wirers on the correct terminals on the wotbox and u can do it...But then again You only use the Box in ''WOT''

when ine come i will see if i have the same sort of closeness ;) and i dont mind gringing as ling as keeps manifold warrenty, might even use exhaust wrap on that part of the turbo, i have ordered mine through ina

Paul, did INA give your spacers for those injectors, i just fitted mine as my IDC's were 116%, i needed to put spacers on the fuel rail as the 440cc injectors were longer than the OEM ones.

hi mate didnt order them in end as guy wouldnt put a chepaer price on value for customs and wouldnt be much difference beetween buying from brittish supplyer,

allthough i ordered a sach performance clutch as 430 so :) 2nd gear launches now possible :D

took some pics of standard mani and turbo today and not much difference in them but not touching allthough what would be the big problem in touching as they both in part clamp to each other anyway cant see it causing damage.
as long as does up think will be happy :)

THats a bit of a balls about the customs, i didn't have this problem with 034 or IE, both of them put down $100 on the shipping slip without any questions.

Thanks a million for those pics, i clocked the turbo compressor housing a MM today and i will take the angle grinder to the manifold tonight. If i can get 2/3mm clearance on the turbine housing and the compressor housing i will be happy.

One think occurred to me today though, i mocked up the turbo/gasket and manifold and the gasket hole diameter is smaller than the diameter of the manifold port, i am not sure if i should make the gasket bigger so its not protruding on the flow, just a thought.

Thanks again for the pics, this gives me a good idea of the stock setup.

so are you sayin the standard gasket or uprated one doesnt fit and what you doing about the spacers for injectors?
i want to buy some that dont need spacers, the manifolds coming in as 100 dollars value but guy wouldnt do it for the injectors :(

the pics are ok but theres literally 1-2mm clearance beetween they manifold and turbo an i cant see being to much of problem if touching, will see when mine comes,

i got to pick up clutch tommmorro and maybe engine but will find out when call in morning ;)


also found these injctors and dont need spacers but says need wiring harness :confused:

i got it for a good price was a last min buy my mate told me about it so called up and put a order in, pick it up tommorro so will stick up a pic, should be good for my 2nd gear launches :)

how long take to get injectors from america and you pm the the guy you spoke to, will drop them an email

will hopefully find out a date on when engine complete tommorro :)
