You guys may not be aware, but when you buy the bumper, you'll also need to sort out the fog lights, as they wouldn't be included! Just such up on this forum for it, as there are countless threads on it.

In terms of alloys, mine are 17. You are unable to fit any larger realistically.. I have 17" Cupra alloys with the lowest profile tyre I was able to get without it being a terrible ride and stupidly easy to curb the alloys. However, when I bought the alloys (from a Leon) I had to get new tyres as they caused rubbing on the smaller Ibiza arches. I believe I have 205/45/17 tyres for reference.

how did you put the AUX cable down to the bottom near the cig lighter?

I just pulled the second Din out from under the headunit, then there is also a curved pannel that just also pops out (not sure what it is for though), and then threaded the wire down both spaces leaving the excess cable in the last compartment.
Then just poped them all back on and there you have it. Will also look at getting a photo bucket account so i can add pictures.

Mate, go for the alloys now if you have the chance! They are dead cheap and sound great, just need tyres which are £72/corner. Only added £50 to my insurance as provisional. Either that or keep in the garage until then as they are really rare ;)

Woops, ignore me. They are older Cupra alloys, which look gash in my opinion ;P

I wrote this out last night but forgot to post it...

And if I'm going to be brutally honest Marksy, I considered a Strut Brace when I first got my car,as I wanted all the shiny bits and bobs, but in reality it is only a 1.2 and you most likely won't be ragging it round a track. £60-80 better spent on a splitter (surprised you've not got one in your signature) and FR grilles in my opinion :D

Which HID's were you considering? 5000k or 6000k? (Any higher and I reckon they look a bit 'chavvy'...)

now you have said that (signiture shall be chagned) and the FR Grill was in the signiture but went for a walk and isnt in there now?! :( and what would you reccomend? (is 6000k better just because its a higher number? ha ha)

Well, 'k' stands for temperature Kelvin, and generally the higher the temperature, the bluer the light is.

Here's a guide on approximate colours:

Generally, I've seen cars with 7000k and 8000k HIDs and they look gash (usually on the try-hard saxo's and 106's)

Personally, I prefer the slightly subtler style, and would go for 5000k, but here is a picture of Lawrie's Ibiza recently fitted 6000k HIDs which seem pretty nice.

Sorry to jump in, but what is a splitter? is it like a fron spoiler?
im not to techy so bare with me.
And will it matter if i got one now pre-facelift and then decide to obtain a facelift bumper.

Thanks, Yeah i think it obv looks better on a face-lift, but not bad pre-facelift too.
But would i be able to just take it off and re attach to a facelift?
cheers
