FR honeycombs are rare unless you buy from dealers. if your after horizontal slats i have a spare set in anthrecite up the loft, never been used.

They are about £50 for the pair mate but completely change the look of the car in my opinion; far sportier.

You can get the slightly older pair (honeycomb the size of the honeycomb on the lower bumper on facelifts) for much cheaper (£20-30 IIRC)

Also, if you're ordering Seat parts, contact Sere Motors on this forum in their section, as they are much cheaper than the dealers around and post cheaply.

Also is your Ibiza the pre-facelift or facelift version? If facelift, a splitter makes it looks fantastic! (check my sig.)

To be honest mate, I'd not bother with an entire bodykit. Your insurance will skyrocket...

Just get a standard facelift front bumper (06 onwards).

Otherwise, a splitter on a pre-facelift just looks..........wrong....:redcard:

Generally, a refurb. on alloys is about £40/alloy, meaning all curbing marks are removed and made to look new again, and sprayed in the colour of your choice.

If you just wanted to spray them yourself, there are a couple of guides on this forum on how to do so. If you haven't seen, Aimez has recently done her Cupra alloys in bright green, all DIY

ok, any mayjor differences between the pre-facelift and facelift? and i guess £40 p/wheel isnt to bad. But like ive said before i dont want to make my ibiza into a chav-wagon...just throwing some ideas out to see what people think.

There are things i am going to do for sure (e.g. de-badge, new alloys, FR Honeycomb grill, FR Rear lights, HID or DRL's and LED Numberplate lights) - thats on the outsite ;)

To be honest, the only major visual difference between them is the front bumper.

Personally, I find the pre-facelift Ibiza relatively ugly, but facelift far sportier and visually appealing, all because of the bumper

The lack of honeycomb, the rounded bumper and fairly bland grills make it seem quite old fashioned in my opinion. Most people who've changed bumpers have said it's the best mod they've done.

I was tempted to de-badge the rear, but quite like the bit of chrome. Never really bothered thinking about changing rear lights... However was tempted to buy some tinting film to go 'stealth'.

One thing to be careful of when buying number plate lights is the brightness/amount of LEDs in them. I've seen various members buy them to look whiter, but ended up lighting up the entire road beneath them rather than just the number plate (looks like a dodgy copy of those undercar neons  ).

Overall, I try to keep my mods subtle and classy, nothing too drastic or 'boy racer' ;)

ah ok, i shall look into that then :) and yeah i agree i want them to be sublte thats why im trying to find the FR alloys 1st rather than others, but aslong as they are nice i dont really mind :)

the facelift does look so much nicer and for cost of bodykit and spraying its not worth it on a little car like these.

i got my bodykit already in the black which is same as my car so was cheap for me.

but i do disagree about the splitter, i think it makes the car look lower, more sporty and just better and at £22 from dealer you cant complain ... each to there own.

yer harrogate aint far mate! im going to a meet in teeside on sunday, if you can get to Stamford Bridge (village just outside york see on google maps) then your more than welcome to come with me and see some of the best Seats around our area. let me know

:D but yer i agree just get a facelift front (and rear if you can afford) bumper. unless you can find a bodykit in your colour.

You'd better not be de-badging the front

I'll see how your tailgate looks after, and I may be tempted :)

Also, send me the links and I'll put them up for you if you want. How many posts do you need to be a full member? 100?
