Oh, and with those new FR grills and some nice alloys, your Ibiza will look COMPLETELY different :D

It will look great!

Oh and I didn't display one pic due to your plate being on there... So you'll need to delete that off your photobucket if you don't want to disclose it mate.

cheers guys, was really easy :) method i used -

boiling water from a kettle allowed t cool for about 30secs outside
use a sponge and 'drown' the letters in the hot water
get a LONG piece of dental floss and hook it round the back then move side to side and pull down
use a credit card (or similar - VERY CAREFULLY) to remove the glue - keep use the hot water to make the glue easier to remove
use a product to remove any glue residue thats left (i used 'sticky stuff remover'
then polish (use autoglym)

works a treat!!

Hey Arondo, just to be a bit picky, you're probably going to get more replies to your specific question with your own dedicated thread

But anyway, if it's a bog standard 02 Ibiza, you can more or less follow all of the mods that have been suggested to Marksy on this thread. Best off to start subtle and make a few aesthetic changes then move onto larger tuning changes.

How old are you/how many years driving, by the way? (Just wondering in terms of insurance, as a new exhaust system will make it sky rocket if you're young).

;)

hahah cheers got recommended by a mate to use these

and yeah well i was thinking of a cupra conversion
and im 17 with 7 months so exhaust is out of the question for now lol

i found this rear bumper on ebay which is for the ibiza 2006 -2008 model
and before buying it i was wondering if it would actually fit on my car or would it be a waste of time ?

and yeah im thinking of lowering, splitter and i have already got my mind set on alloys :) [B)]

Well, considering you're 17, you won't have a full years NCB and insurance is going to my seriously high anyway if you're on your own policy (which you should be, as it's your car).

Basically, you're in the same boat as me, and for the moment I reckon you should stay away from lowering/changing kits, as this will make insurance much dearer! Stick to the aesthetics for the time being, such as a splitter/alloys, and perhaps check with your insurance company how much a Seat standard bumper would be to add.

I'm already being battered with a £2500 premium, with my no claims coming up in October, so am still going to wait for a bit until I bother with any serious changes.

Search this forum, as there are a few people who have successfully changed their front and rear bumpers to Facelift 06-08 versions.

What alloys have you got your eye on? A Cupra set, or aftermarket ones?

Hey, just seeing what the going price is for a face lift bumper? quite fancy getting one myself but only if i can afford it that is.
Also is it a DIY job, or take it to get fitted?

All i have done to my Ibiza is remove the bog staandard Sterio/ CD player and fitted my own Sony Xplode Unit and wired the ipod connection through the dash consol down to near the lighter, Also ordered some new White lights to fit, and some chrome detailing.

Will try get pics up when done.
