If you want honeycomb side grills like mine, make sure you go for the facelift FR versions.

I have a friend who bought the cheaper, pre-facelift ones and I think they look naff in comparison.

I reckon you should be my HID guinea pig :lol: If I like them, I'll probably grab myself a set ;)

Well, yes, either set will fit..

Here is a pic of the older ones;

And the newer ones are in my sig. image.

When you get alloys, you'll notice the MASSIVE difference they make.

Well, there are often some great deals on the forum! Just keep checking now and then, as I've seen some lovely VAG alloys for £200 inc. tyres on here and eBay.

I ended up finding mine randomly on Piston-heads, so definitely worth taking your time to fish around.

You on your todd with paying for the mods? I guess you have a job then? For me it's the ol' Supermarket job in evenings and weekend ;)

ah right...saw some skoda VRS alloys in black on a ibiza few weeks back and it looked great - how easy is it to change the centre logo on alloys from say a skoda badge to a Seat badge?

and yeah supermarket job for me - and paying for all the mods myself (along with the insurance & lessons & tests!) although the car was bought for me so its only fair....cant wait to start changing it though. Radio & Alloys are the 1st major changes :)

Very easy mate! I have a brand new box of centre caps sitting next to me, and seeing as Skoda is part of the VAG group, they will most likely fit. So if you get some vRS's, give me a shout and they're yours for what I paid for 'em (all unopened).

I was lucky enough to split the cost of my car, insurance and test with my parents, however all mods are under my own steam. Where do you work? I'm at Waitrose, working on Food Service :lol:

Never really considered getting a new radio, don't know the advantages to it. I just got a wireless FM transmitter for my iPod (£15) and play through my speakers! Works a treat!

ok cheers mate - still be a while before new alloys sit on my ibiza, think they shall arrive around xmas time if not a little before, however the new head unit shall be arriving around october time hopefully :)

HID's i guess will be fitted around january time and then tinted windows to follow shortly after that - i've already de-badged it and i am going to order the new honeycomb grilles more than likely next week so they should 'bee' ;) :lol: fitted in the next few weeks!

love the alloys - were they expensive? also how much to get the resprayed?

if this post is aimed at me i think the alloys where £500 from wheel worx in mansfield with tyres and i payed my mate £80 to spray them in gloss black for me :) going to have them powder coated gloss black soon tho as they are starting to flake
