got price 2day for diffe, flywheels and clutch 2000 plus vat. so will be gettin that done in march. There not bad on the track r they i was surprised there was not much over takin me. just a shame couldnt get power down but that will all be sorted for next year. Have u had the 888 on the track yet. i was thinkin about buyin sum slick for next year.
if you have two sets of alloys go for slicks, but if you do go for slicks a baffled sump is a must. I'm running as much -ve camber as possible and -25mm ride with the offside +1mm. R888's are great so far but not been on the track. Seemed to fair well on the 1/4 mile too one warmed

I've just bought a Autotech Wavetrac differential,
http://www.autotech.com/prod_drive_wavetracDiffs.htm
this is a ATB but with a bit of a difference.
I got mine for a good price and can point you in the direction of a few suppliers.
With this you'll need an 02M differential fitting kit

As for the gear box work there seems to be one main VAG guy who is on everyones lips when it comes to GB's and that's Vince at Stealth Racing.
http://www.stealthracing.co.uk/
From these guys your £399+ VAT for a gear box recondition and differential fitting. This might go up if there are any issues in the gear box.
The selector fork is a weak point in these boxes, ask them to drill out the rivet and replace this with a bolt/nut, cheers to Badger 5 Bill for this one:).
There are a few other companies that will give you good quotes for differentials, try
BackDraft Motorsport
INA Engineering
JBS (as above)
I have bought another gear box so can still use my car in the mean time. I'm just away to send my box down to Stealth in the next few weeks.
Let me know if you need any other information.

i was told it would be up ta six weeks. It all depended on if blue flame had them all in stock. but that was after the group buy had finished. so it should be about three more weeks at the most.
I hopin there here before i go to germany.

Is this normal with the high temp that they get to. thinkin about get tarox track pads 601 I think they are called. this time doe s any one on here have them.

My inner pads do wear faster than my outers, but not substantially. Not too sure about tarox pads, but DS2500s and DS3000 pads are highly rated for use with the Brembo calipers. I am using RBF660 fluid at the minute to avoid brake fade on trackdays. Hope that helps :)

My brake pad wear has always been totally equal between the two pads, but it is very common for the inner to wear more than the outer.
I'm moving on from DS2500 to DS3000's. not because i don't like the DS2500 but just to see how good the braking can get
