£212 is too rich for me, as I said I would have been happy to still use DS2500 if the price difference wasn't so close to the DS3000's and there supposed to be amazing.

Let me know how you get on with the DS3000s, I can't justify 150% of the cost of DS2500s yet; a good review may persuade me!

TBH, tha braking with new DS2500's and new discs (as I'm sure you know) was very very good.
I doubt the DS3000's will beat that but will soon find out.

No but tell me more
DS3000's are £161 delivered :(

compared to Performance Friction, and PagiD RS pads, DS3000's are a bargain
less heat from them too, and kinder to disks

there is no coincidence why I settled on these having tried pretty much most other performance pads about

:)

Fair enough Bill, thought there must be a reason :)

It'll be interesting to see if I can get the benefit of the DS3000's over the DS2500's.

I'll do a write up on these when I've done some testing

I had them for a while on mine and the stopping power feels alot stronger than the DS2500's. I ended up changing them for the DS2500's due to the Carbotech's squeeling when driving through town.
Might be worth you looking into them, i have the ones i took out of mine which have hardly any wear on them if you wanted to try them.

I'm really wanting to try the DS3000's

haha!! I'll be sure to test them thoroughly; it I get my BDM baffled sump in time :D

No seriously, if you want them Willie, you have them. Just if you don't I would be interested to try something different!

finally got my new exhaust on with d cat and it was runnin fine. But two days in to r nurburgring trip it started to smoke when sat in traffic. or just when i set off. some one said it could be the turbo seals. but am not using any oil. It going to garage on monday to make sure the maps doin what it should.
The question is what do i do if it is the turbo. I dont like to fix things with standard parts so i thinkin about a hybrid. does anyone who is readin this thread have a hybrid.

I've seen this on another highly tuned Leon.
this can be down to the fact the CAT's not there and not clesning up the exhaust fumes.
I'd say stick with it till its fecked but keep your nose close to the ground looking for a back up plan
My stage 2 is boosting 1.6 BAR from 3,000 to 5,000 RPM then tails off to 1.2-1.3 BAR to red line.
A hybrid wouldn't manage more up till 5,000 RPM but would hold this to the red line.
I have read a thread saying a hybrid is better off with 550 cc injectors too
