FMIC ordered!!! Took the car out to Bolton Abbey and the peformance was utter gash because of the heat and twintercoolers.

So FMIC it is!! Then exhaust/DP and stage 2. Got big plans for this leon, now i've done the ARB's and suspension/bushes im in love with its handling.........I'm going to aim for the 340BHP mark. :D

I can't believe how cheap the kits are if you stay away from Forge. Bough my whole kit for just under £200, doing it myself with help from CupraCraig....

Forge are making an absolute killing on there intercoolers.

Cheers :)
Yes but if your aiming for big turbo then you will find on higher boost applications it just cant get rid of the heat. This is where you get what you pay for type thinking comes in.

If this intercooler is good enough for 400HP Japaneese motors then i'm sure it will suffice my aim of approx 340HP.

Cooler got delivered today, looks tidy and big..........can't wait to get rid of the matchbox twintercoolers. :D

FMIC Fitted :)

Me and CupraCraig have fitted two of these IC's now and become experts at removing/fitting the bumper. For anyone trying this I strongly recommend dropping the wheel arch lining and removing the two bolts holding the side of the bumper on.

Equipment needed:-

Small ratchet
Large ratchet
Grinder
Anti-Rust spray
Pizza's
Tea
Plasters
40 Regal Kingsize
Drill
............plus tears, sweat and colourful language.

End result is fantastic!!!! Couldn't recommend this mod highly enough, I must of gained some torques as its even harder not to wheelspin.

Lovely car there.

I'm looking for an intercooler kit at the moment. Don't suppose you've got a list of parts and where you got them from??

Just make sure you buy proper t-bolt clamps otherwise the jublee clips will pop off left right and centre.

Small but big update:

Bad ass T-Bolts and proper silicone hose joiners to prevent anymore popped FMIC hoses and boost leaks.

Also ordered a Yellow spring for the 007p.
