£6.10 for 4 bags, cheaper than coilovers :D

 Awesome!! What stuff do you use for cleaning your car? I use Fairy washing up liquid, a few buckets of water and a HUGE sponge.. :)

I dont get it looking anything like yours o_O

i wouldn't use fairy liquid mate
it's slightly abrasive, its good to use fairy liquid to get rid of previous wax, but if you don't wax i suggest just using something like autoglym shampoo and conditioner, then dry with drying towel, that's a good place to start :)

then you can autoglym super resin, quite good stuff :D

You need it that low all the time mate! Looks fooking awesome!

Got 30mm rears on now btw and no rubbing in the slightest, so you'll be fine mate! Got the 25's up front now aswell. Seen your swap on ed38, hope someone does!

I'm seriously considering 2 bags of sand until I get some coilovers... Is that daft

I'm not sure Jordan was joking or not... However in answer to his question I used some Halfords shampoo with wax thing, and then autoglym wax. Always comes up clean! Annoying though as soon as you take it out it gets dirty again, and being so clean, you can see all the little marks...

Scott - No takers on the swap yet, but we'll see! You got photos up yet? Interested to see it :D

Parked next a standard ibiza FR today, looked sooooo high at the back, I can't believe I was riding like that at one point!

No mate, I was as serious as a heart attack.. My car looks so bad when I have cleaned it, that it makes me think, why bother? :( I'll have to get to halfords and get myself some cleaning products, but I will spend too much money lol :)

Without going on too much about cleaning, do you use anything special.. I.E.. Lance, washing mit, standard sponge... Thanks buddy..

Coilies may be on the cars soon guys...

After putting up with this noise for ages I went to Seat main dealer (Yeh I know...made) Was fed up with garage not getting me a deffinate answer.

Anyway, was with them for a day and they advised a new outer CV joint popped on the next day (£220)
Picked it up, all was fine. Then the noise came back! Took it to Seat, kicked off. Just went out with the mechanic and he said he advised an Inner and Outer CV joint (not what Mr Seat on Reception told me)

Anyway, he says the lowering springs are not helping matter and my shocks are a little worse for ware. He advised replacing the shocks/springs and taking it from there, as that elliminates the sus being an issue.

Long story short, he said get some coilovers. then if it still knocks, get an inner CV joint.

He said I should buy one in as well, cheaper that way, any idea how much an inner CV joing would be?
Also... £80 per hour + VAT. I almost had a heart attack.

Now you have a rough idea what it is mate dont take it to them for fitting!

The man was right about the coilies though :p then if it still makes the noise, buy the part in and take it to a local car place you can trust!

Not surprised if it is your shocks that are dying, i was willing to give mine a couple of months on them springs, they were rather unforgiving!

Adam initially told me what it was (cheers!!) Just a case of telling the garage and getting them to do it right! But your correct, not paying £80ph + VAT

I'm still going strong @ 15,000 miles with the Shock/spring combo
