So. New lows were put on yesterday :D

It now doesn't handle like a sponge, and looks nice and low! Some scrubbing issues on the front so had to raise it a little, but i'll need to take the arch lining out so I can run fully low up front.

It also *touch wood* seems to have massively reduced the knocking noise I had!

I guess you'll want a photo... It was raining, so this is all your getting ;)

Looking good from what I can see of it at the minute. What coilovers did you go for in the end and how high is the back currently sitting?

Cheers dude! Got some brand new Weitecs off here from Lee (Thanks Fella!)

Back is currently sitting just in line with the tyre. and front just below top of tyre. However i'm expecting stuff to settle a little over the next couple of days. Once they have settled fully stuff may need adjusting again.

Just drove into work (32 miles on a mixture of roads) and they are so much nicer than my knackered shocks!!

Yeah It felt theexact sane for me when I changed over too plus the added benefit of having it much lower.

My car is sitting pretty much at the same as yours then, don't want
to put it much lower at the front because
of the sump.

Can your coilivers go any further down at the back?

No lower at the back. It was 65mm then took the adjuters out so will be sitting at around 75mm give or take.

Was all the way down at teh front, but the scrubbing like mad, so started to take the arch lining out, but that just pulled the undertray off... so had to put that back on a lift it a little :(

Like I said i'll wait for it to settle a little more, as it's brand new etc... COuple of days see what it's like then.

If I get time tonight and the weatehr is ok i'll take it on a mini shoot somewhere, so fear not, more photos will come soon. I'm just loving teh whole new feel of the car, everything just feels better!

I biked to work yesterday (37 miles there) so decided to drive in today as I wanted to try the coilies!

I'll drop you a text, but hopefully i'll be out yeh, depends on my bike etc...

Not checked the undertray, but on the way to work there are a few sections of bumps/raised up bits, so was a little worried going over them, but no issues!

What would happen if I was to remove the undertray?

I removed the undertray from mine as actually going over bumps at the front had worn away some of the screws at the back of it, but felt that it left the bottom very exposed, mainly the sump that was exposed.

So I put it back on again just incase. :)
