Managed to get a quick pic of my updated oil return hose, proper Goodridge 200 stuff.

I had previously cut an OE return pipe and adapted it to fit the INA sump, but this is a proper Goodridge 200 -10AN hose and fittings. Firesleeve on the upper half to protect it from the heat off the downpipe.

Car is running great, no problems!

Got these fitted now - Fluidampr crank pulley and lightweight alloy power steering pulley, both from INA:

I used new high tensile bolts and threadlock when fitting them. I have the alternator pulley as well but despite my best efforts, the original pulley refuses to come off - even using an impact gun and a vice didn't work! If I ever get it off or buy a new alternator, I'll fit it then.

The Fluidampr is amazing, it is said to reduce the clatter associated with single-mass lightweight flywheels .... and it really does!, Idle is smoother and quieter now and when getting on the power - it is just SOOO smooth! This thing really works, it's brilliant. :D Lots of info about the Fluidampr here:

I don't know if it's because of the Fluidampr or the new lighter PS pulley, but my steering feels lighter and smoother now as well.

Did an oil and filter change today too (so now running Millers 10W40 CFS competition oil), along with fitting a proper Goodridge -10AN oil return hose from the turbo to sump, didn't get pics though, will get some soon. I'm now very happy with everything, so it's all set for some hard driving and FUN! ;)

Big thanks to Issam (INA Engineering) for the parts and advice, plus great prices! :D

i think i want this if it quitens the flywheel noise. i hate mine i keep my clutch floored when in neutral so i dont hear the noise

Tells you all about it on their site: http://www.fluidampr.com/HOWITWORKS.htm

"Each time the air/fuel mixture inside a cylinder is ignited, the combustion that occurs creates a torque spike that is applied to the crankshaft through the piston and rod. This torque spike is so severe that it not only turns the crankshaft, it actually twists the crankshaft ahead of its normal rotation and then the crankshaft rebounds. This twisting action is known as torsional vibration. When these torque spikes and forces get into phase with the natural frequency, critical torsional harmonic vibrations occur and can be seriously destructive to the bearings and the crankshaft. Dampers are designed to control those destructive vibrations."

Got the upper honeycomb grills fitted over the weekend to my LCR front bumper, turned out to be quite an easy job, looks SO much better than the standard slatted design.
Many thanks to David at Sere Motors for getting me the grills in double-quick time! :D

Got a spare centre badge grill to convert to honeycomb as well, so will be working on that over the next wee while.

Thanks! :)

Removed a few parts to send away for powdercoating - both upper and lower front strut braces, were plain black, having them done in red, refitting with new stainless steel nuts and bolts.

Also sent off my spare cam cover and sump to be done in metallic silver. Still not sure whether I'm going to do any trackdays yet, if I don't I'll refit the OE sump and sell the baffled sump.

Reduced the boost to 1.6 BAR for now, not sure if 1.8 BAR is safe to use all the time. Still rips though!
