Oh and I am also trying out one of these, Pipercross Venom:

http://www.thepipercrossshop.co.uk/venom.asp

Pipercross rate it to 450bhp and it is only very lightly oiled. So far so good, does not feel restrictive at all, car pulls the same as with an open cone, doesn't sound as good but with the 3" cold air duct being fed directly from the fog light hole, it's being force-fed nothing but cold air.

I have removed Venom and fitted open cone and got higher airflow..

After refitting my open cone I knew right away that it was pulling better, so I have sold the Venom. The open cone pulls harder and sounds WAY better, so it's staying for good!

With the boost set to 1.8 BAR on the UNOS, the car feels awesome, pulls hard and it feels like the boost is more direct now, stronger push in the back when you nail it. Torque must be up now, feels great - very happy with it right now. :D

Got a few small changes coming very soon, will post them up once the parts are here.

Yes, no complaints at all. Now the engine is run in and I have changed over to synthetic oil, it's pulling harder than ever, feels awesome at 1.8 BAR of boost. :D The JBS manifold does not feel restrictive in any way at all.

Fantastic :D

Good to hear..

Many thanks

Here's some updates, just small stuff.

Here's the pipe I had Forge make for me, it has the MAP sensor, DV and WMI port on it:

3waypipe.jpg

WMI is now running 2 nozzles, one just after the intercooler outlet and one up by the throttle body (see above pic), instead of running one D04 nozzle, I'm now running a D03 nozzle (post-IC) and a D01 (pre-TB), split and check valve here:

Here we have my vacuum distribution block, fed by a large hose off the underside of the SEM, all hard piping to the various parts needing vacuum:

This is the Motul synthetic oil I'm running now:

It's a really low resistance Rob (like ohm's rather than tens of I believe)

You can disable that airbag individually on vagcom though (or all of them)

MIL will flash 3 (ish) times & extinguish

Hi Rob, Sorry to drop this one in.. would you or anyone be having the part numbers for the teardrop wing mirror covers? I've tried ordering them from my local stealers, the covers they sold me are for the MK2 Leon the person had never heard of teardrop wing mirrors on the LCR...
