check out the inlet temps decrease, and timing pull now looks acceptible

comments welcome guys, still think i have a fuelling issue, i advanced timing by 1.5 then 0.75... cfs rose slightly, then i retarded timind to -.75 no better than at 0.000 so i left the timing at that.

maf reading looks strong boost seems ok, meeting requested on average

Im pretty much crying now over the install of fmic :D. I cant get MAP sensor off old intercooler. Screws are rusty and its just stuck. Looks like i will have to buy a new one - i almost broke it in half when i was struggling to get it off. :(

James what have you done with your horn? Did you unscrew it? Looks like it has to be done.

ANy idea how much new MAP sensor costs ?

didnt touch the horn mate..why dont you strip the head off the screw leaving a bit and unscrew with pliers

new sensors are around 40quid i think.

Im pretty much crying now over the install of fmic :D. I cant get MAP sensor off old intercooler. Screws are rusty and its just stuck. Looks like i will have to buy a new one - i almost broke it in half when i was struggling to get it off. :(
Any idea how much new MAP sensor costs ?

I had this problem, if you grind the heads of the screws the sensor will come off you just need to find two new screws. ;)

just dont force it and end up stripping the green o ring

oh yeah, the o ring on the mapsensor wont fit in the new map pipe properly, i had to fit one i had here for it to go in, same size just slightly thinner.

I wanted to change my grill to honeycomb one but i cant be bothered anymore I guess. Looks like it isnt very easy either.

Looks good mate, you got the same filter as me now. Be interesting to see what difference the fmic makes on the rollers as our cars are so similar otherwise.

looks decent mate, i modified mine, where it joins the turbo i cut and shut it so it followed a strait pipe from the top to the turbo, cutting out the bend you have there

tip mate, where youve put the fasteners on the bottom left hand side of the fmic, turn them the other way round so they point into the car, it then allows you to tighten them up if you need to without removing the bumper again....

Do you think theres any benefit of the 2.5" pipe going to 2" where it meets the turbo?

Mines 2.5" all the way to the turbo but I've read some people [I think RobDon?] use small pipe on the hot side?

no mate, no benefit id say, more restriction than benefit... shouldnt hurt too much on that side though, i just wanted a strait pipe route rather than a bend right near the turbo. just the turbo outlet is smaller so 2 inch makes it tighter on there

I would prefer to see 0.8x fueling under boost personally.
dial 5%-10% into increase fueling under load and relog see what it thinks.
