The white on the bumper is a work in progress, I'm Filling out the back bumper to look like the mk4, making it *hopefully* look a bit more euro, smooth style. Also done the front bumper a bit, taking the ribs out as I think I put in earlier... now the slits in the side have been filled, just need to find the time in between work and everything else. Ah well. Meet on saturday :)

Edit: Oh, and another one. got an 8 LED cluster off ebay for my interior light.

With LED facing up, reflecting off a bit of tin foil I stuck in the roof ;)

Pardon the quality... looks nice on a 3.5" phone screen. Left my 10mp camera in the drawer :(

Hey - been a while since I've been on the forums, but I have to say wow your cars looking really really well. I must get some LED's for my interior lights and I was thinking of doing footwell lighting you open the doors - saw a guide on here somewhere.

But yeh - loving the car! Definetly the "dark evil" version of mine.

Picking up my damaged Mk3 tonight..
I am hoping I can get mine to look anything like yours mate..

Are you sure yours and markmeus cars werent seperated at birth.. It definatly looks like it.. Both quality cars.. I reckon yours could do with the cupra grille, that would finish the front end off completely..

Get some pics of your back bumper up matey.. :D

Haha, it isn't all that. Just makes it look like a mk4 :p I'm thinking of ditching it for a cupra rear bumper  I'm wary of the cupra grill, I don't want to make the car look like something it's not... if you get my drift. people will see the grill and jump to conclusions...besides, I'll save that for when I have the 20vT to go with it :)

Thanks for the kind comments. It isn't in the best shape at the moment, and I miss the good weather to get everything I want done on it. Roll on spring!

Too right - mine has looked a right state all ove Christmas - got it washed at the weekend probably for the first time since November  - forgot how good they look when they're clean!

Haha! I don't dare wash mine for fear of all the little scratches I might find...that and my gf will ask for 'rupert' her pug 106 to have a scrub too... I suppose it's only small.... :cartman: Oh, Mark. What tyres you on atm?

Kumho Ecsta - cant remember the exact model number but I'll check tomorrow

Never took any pics of the winter wash :( was freezing and just wanted to get back in the house! But I must get some up - it's been a good while since I took any - not that anything's changed!

Oh and yeh - I thought I'd plug you thread cos your way ahead of me with the mods. I need to fix a few things before I do anything else - CD Changers stopped working - still haven't got round to looking at the washer jet pipe in the boot and MOT is due in March so I reckon I'll need my brakes sorted for that.

hmm, if your CD changers broke, do what I did, get a chavvy 7" eBay 1 DIN radio and sink it in the dash. Looks minted, and best of all, I've made a few people jump as I start the car n the screen pops out!

*cough* dewiper *cough* looks much better...IMO anyway. You don't notice it much, did a 300 mile round trip without it n didn't need it at all. With your brakes, do you need discs and pads or just pads? either way, get on the blower to GSF parts or someone like that and fit them yourself. easy as pie. I took 20 minutes on each. wheel off, take the screw out of the hub, tap the disc off gently with a hammer, pull out disc and pads, new in, push it all back job done :) and you know they'll work ;)

This is completely out of context to what you guys have been speaking about but..

How much have you lowered your car by?? I have been looking at some 35mm lowering springs for around £50.00, is that worth it? And, Is 35mm enough or too much..
Thanks :)

I haven't lowered it at all :)

Sorry, shouldve clarified. I've not lowered it at all... 35mm would give you a good stance on the ibiza's. just watch out for speed bumps when you do, they're nasty to VAGs, low mounted engines :p are they new or used? £50 sounds reasonable...just springs?

Yeah mate, just the springs.. I was looking at the wrong ones.. The ones for mk3 1.4 are £66.. Am I just better off getting the full suspension kit brand new? They only come to around £200ish.. And I know that they will be the right ones then wont I?
