Looking good martin, se your going hybrid like me, the race is on.

Cheers Wilz, you got round to fitting yours yet?

I was aiming to go hybrid this year, but a trackday has come up and i've also realised i need to upgrade my intercooler so i've postponed it for a while. I've got the high flow manifold now, along with the LCR TIP and 80mm MAF. Just the intercooler, fuel pump, injectors, turbo and mapping to go

Grinding we were kind of expecting after previous reports, it's the bolts that pissed me off

Like i said mate, health and safety would of had fun watching us fit it all back on! The bolts were the bit that annoyed me the most.

Luckily i came up with another "special" repair :cartman: we'll get that spare driveshaft on there at the weekend

Cheers mate, i'll dig it out of the shed at some point this week and see what condition it's in.

No real updates on the car recently as i'm now saving for a house.

I went to Cadwell Park back in November, and, apart from boost hoses keep popping off, was really pleased with how the car performed. The high flow manifold is definately doing it's job, and is keeping exhaust temps a lot lower than the standard manifold was. The diff definately helps getting the power down out of the corners and i'm now really looking forward to the BHP Show at Lydden in May where it'll be on track again.

A few of many pictures from Cadwell:

I've got a few little things planned for 2010, but it'll mainly be maintaining the car and hopefully getting the rusty tailgate sorted!

A few snow pics of a very dirty Ibiza:

the track pics look amazing :D professionally taken?

Cheers :) The top two were taken by the circuit professional photographer. They charge £30 for all of the shots of your car from the day. The one of mine and Ben's was taken by a friend.

I really like your engine swap, but wouldn't a Audi TT 225bhp motor be more interesting as I think this will have cost a lot too?

I still think about getting coils for my Cupra (have them on my 16V Golf and love them).

It was easier just to get a whole Mk3 Ibiza and stick it all it. If i'd gone for the 225 TT lump then i would of had to find the loom etc... seperately. Much less hassle doing it with the full car. I can always change the turbo when i need more power :)

Yep they are a direct fitment, no spigot rings required and the standard bolts are used. The bolts with the radius seats.

I have a set of those wheels on my 1.4.

awesome am looking at a set at the moment just waiting for the bloke to get back to me, they should be direct fit too

Was browsing another forum the other night and spotted these:

mo.jpg

16x7 ET35 Compomotive MO's, powder coated in satin black.

Going to pick them up on thursday night.

Then it's just the decision of what wheels suit the Ibiza more, as i'll have to sell either the Super T's or the MO's :(
