i got mine at Awesome Gti they told me milltek sent the wrong exhaust at 1st they had to send it back because milltek have the wrong exhaust listed for the cupra. milltek had sent the fr cat-back exhaust which i was told they do all the time. Awesome told me they send it back because it wouldn't stick out far enough. i didn't understand at the time but after i've seen yours i understand, i take it milltek send Awesome the same exhaust for me that you have.

I think mine was the very first one to be made with this tip on it. The person I got it off went direct to Miltek and they made it up to his requirements.

Mine only sits a little in the bumper because I fitted it in a hurry and have not had time to adjust it yet.

Enjoy your car once you get your bits fitted! I miss mine so much!

Do some trackdays in it too... It's a nice little moover once it's set up properly :)
the derv can easily take it in it's stride!

I probably did ~16 in my Cupra TDI in the 4.5 years I had it. It was great fun once I had the coilovers and rARB etc. The car can easily take the strain!
My best MPG on track was 14.7.

Just shop around... they dont have to be expensive, also Tris and others organise ones off here, so keep a look out. Were doing Oulton Park this weekend... for £69! You cant argue with that! :funk:

You get any **** from the marshalls about smoke out the back, mine smokes loads under full load and i'm always worried i'll get black flagged. But never seen any rules on smokey diesels on track.

TBH Ant, I never had a problem. I dont think my old Ibiza was that sooty tbh, although I have got a few pictures from my final trackday at goodwood, where there is a sizeable cloud following me out of the pits :D

Also, on the track, your generally up near 4000RPM, so the soot generation should be minimal (unless your running rich/have a mahoosive turbo). Ive never found myself off boost waiting for it to kick in whilest on the track (which is when 99% of the soot it generated), if that makes sense?

I think you'd be very very very unlucky to have it pointed out to you. Not sure if you were there in 2005 (I think), we all did a trackday at Snetterton, and there was a V12 jag there burning oil for fun... blue smoke pouring out of the back, and although we complained, he was left to carry on till the afternoon when half a tonne of Jag engine deposited itself down the straight.

I dont think T.Spark (or whatever he's called now :) ) had/has any problems and his car (when on boost) it looks like theres an oil fire in his boot (or the guy with the Fabia VRS).

When I've tired of the Elise, i'll be buying another Cupra TDi, and turning into my track+commuting car.

kw v1 coilovers, whiteline rear anti roll bar and front brake pads and discs fit to my car today. rear brakes not fit because the discs i was sent were the wrong size i order tarox g88 232mm discs, i never checked them when they arrived and when they were fit today they were to big they cought on the calipers because i had bin sent tarox g88 239mm discs. that 7mm makes all the difference. so i'll be on the phone tomorrow to sort them out, i also need longer bolts for my spacers.

i havent got any pictures as i'm working away so i'll get some this weekend and post them sometime in the next few days.

what map is that ? Is that as it comes on boost, higher up the revs.
Plus on a trackday, hopefully there will be some forward motion to thin that cloud out ;)
mine was never that bad/good :)
