hybrid ibiza cupra tdi SOLD

i've had my hybrid turbo fit for a few weeks now, i've not noticed any difference in power just more black smoke. looks cool i got my mate to drive my car and i went behind him he put his foot down and disapeared in a puff of black smoke.
i've got my car booked in at RS Tuning on the 29/06, cant wait should be fun

Was gona say there should be more power, but you havent had it mapped yet, I'm jealous of you! I still need to fit clutch, and loads of other things before turbo , good luck with the mapping

I also had my car mapped with a hybrid turbo at RS!

Not been any updates for a while since I had my laptop robbed out of the work van, just found about tapatalk for iPhone.

RS map is good, cant think off the top of my head but my car ran 224, 225 and 228bhp and all were about 360 lbs/ft of torque on the roller.

Next thing done to my car after that was the front drop links went, so got some shorted drop link fitted which fixed the rattle they caused.

An now am trying to find out what is making the turbo scream, think the gaskets hav gone I've changed them before but it sorted the problem but not for long so am going try it again.

What turbo is yours, I've just read your thread on the problem an watched the video, sounds exactly like mine. How easy was it to replace the gasket? And was it just the exhaust gasket you replaced? I'm not very mechanical person but am short of money at the min so am thinking of trying it myself.

Exhaust manifold gasket changed, no scream, less smoke wen my toe is down and seems picks up better.

After 4 and a half years I've decide to sell my 2005 Ibiza Cupra TDI hybrid. I've spent quite a lot of money on my Cupra and here is what I've done:



Performance;

Turbo Dynamics md376 stage 2 outright hybrid turbo

K & N panel air filter

Allard power pipe egr delete pipe

Seat Sport front mount intercooler

Milltek large bore down pipe and decat pipe

Milltek resonated cat-back exhaust

Sachs uprated clutch pressure and drive plates

R32 clutch release bearing

RS tuning leeds custom remap



Handling;

KW v1 coilovers

Seat Sport front strut brace

Whiteline rear anti roll bar

Awesome gti shortened front anti roll bar drop links

Eibach pro spacer 40mm on the rear

Seat Sport AP racing 4 pot brake caliper on the front

new brakes pads and discs all road fit in september 2012



With the modifications my car is running 224.4 bhp and 360 ft/lb, I hav the dyno print out from if you want to see it.



My car was last serviced september 2012 at 40400 miles it has a full service history and a fully stamped log book. At the minute my car has just short of 43000 miles MOT till July the 17th 2013 and taxed till the end of January 2014.



The car is in good condition for the age.



Bad points about my car is a chip on the edge of the passenger side door about the size of a penny. The alloys have a few kerb marks on and the lacquer around some of the wheel nuts is peeling off.
