Ive looked on ITG's website but can see no mention of this kit, where are people ordering this from?
Just to say RobH and I were the 1st to fit the ITG and when fitted to mine in conjunction with sports cat and twintercooler the car made 70bhp more because it allowed stage 2+ to pull the correct boost and timing, don't forget to remove the transmission duct if you're fitting one cos it allows cool air to the filter from the foglight area! Great bit of kit, shame about the price...Get what you pay for..............

Only found out about this when I fitted the twintercooler, it was in the instructions! There is a biggish(about 120mm dia) plastic duct going from the n/s foglight area back to the gearbox, this gets in the way of the new i/c hoses so you have to remove it. Can't imagine it'd cause a problem with our climate! But it does give a clear run for fresh air to where the new filter resides in its cool, cosy cubbyhole! It is noticeably cooler now in there, checked it while I was on the dyno, real hot under the bonnet, relatively cool in the filter area, a testament also to the ITG heat baffle! Only downside is I'm pretty sure the front bumper has to come off to do this, not the end of the world tho!
For those with the standard Cupra front, you mention air from the fog light area to feed the ITG intake, are the fins around your fog lights open as mine are solid?

Appreciate the advice on the duct mod. Could you give a bit more detail? Do you have any pics? Does it have an adverse effect on transmission cooling??
Cheers
very clever!
Why not put a small bit of fabric mesh round the end of the tube - still get the cold air but will stop any rubbish coming up towards the filter - just an idea
No I havn't taken any pics of it mate, I didn't get it on to late last night, I will have another play with it,
The bonnet upright bar seems to be catching the foam when its down also
