those white lines really stand out using those settings on the camera ;)

Good job I didnt take it then! ;) Look how well I am parked though, first time round! Not like you that parks into mud mounds and gets your LCR all covered in sludge! ;)

is that a back end of a Datsun or a Nissan at the back?.....were you at the right Bristol Meet?

Datsun? Aye that's showing your age fella! ;) And no, it's obviously a Vauxhall Astra. :bleh:

You guys really need to talk me out of this!!!

I'm 21 now, just got 4 years NCB and 4 years driving under my belt.....meaning my insurance is starting to swing in my favour SLIGHTLY.

I've owned the Ibiza since December 06 now, got it with 12,500 miles, it's now done 52,000 and iI dont think there is one standard part on it now!

So I'm thinking about changing in the new year, maybe one more show season with the Ibiza, then change.....

I just cannot stop looking at these:

Now someone talk me out of it! Or Im gonna have to do something I might regret in the new year!

Have you thought about how much a supercharged R32 would cost to run, Ash?

At least double your insurance and running costs.

the cost of the car might be affordable, but the running costs are gonna be pretty steep! esp after you've had a diesel.

As you know I had a diesel, and over a year and a half later i still miss the economy from it. mine costs a fair amount to run, and thats a 1.8T, let alone a 3.2T. i'd expect no more than 20mpg out of one, plus the cost of 4 tyres more reguarly, brake pads, parts more expensive - the list goes on! It really takes the fun out of driving

I bought my LCR when i was on 13k a year, and looking back on it, it was impossible to run it

Insurance is £300 more than the Ibiza. And it wouldnt necassarily be charged straight away! Like the Beeza wasn't hybrid straight away....

I dont do half as much long distance as I used to, the most I do on a regular basis is a 30 mile trip one way. And 14 miles to my new work place....

Do you regret buying the LCR though? I'd keep the R32 standard for a while! I dont think you regret buying yours, yes I'd miss the ecomony but.....I'd do that with anything I think! Even the Mk2 Leon tdi's - the FR 170bhp diesels only get high 30's, 40 average tops! So......they arent all they're cracked up to be either! :(

Yea, but untill you got it charged it wouldn't be as fun as the ibiza. Then once it was charged insurance would prob be another £300 again.

Wouldnt it? 4wd? "That noise". Minimal wheelspin! Usable power?

I dunno - get a passenger ride in one I think. Like I say - it's not for a while yet! But thinking about it. I like the Leon K1's, but they're 2wd.
