Is there any traction in 1 - 3 or is it sit and spin shizney.

if you are a guerrila on the throttle no.. you could just sit and smoke the tyres to canvas
if you use it progressively then you can balance the spool and urge with your right foot.

something like the apexi avc-r with its gear limit boost would help traction vs gear, as would n75 off in first couple of gears so only 0.8bar initially, then another batr once you are rolling. that kinda thing. can all be done if desired at a later date

I have been off with flu all week, so not had chance to do anything on anything car wise.

Its got a diff, and when on full chat in 4th its weaving up the road as the tyres struggle to grip, but they do just about grip. deffo firm grip and both hands on the steering wheel kinda car

I'd go cold side dv every time. For no other reason than the valves only going to see 40-50c at worst, rather than 130C plus on turbo outlet.
Mines run a standard 710n for 2 years in this position. No issues, just a nice fast acting dv.

I hear what your saying.. 6 of one 1/2 dozen of the other in function terms.
my ibiza's on cold side but supersize DV also
plumbing and pipework is a factor

was mapping it more yesterday straight back off holiday so i am on it.
dialing in fueling and taming boost delivery as i see this car being ott unleached.

4th gear slight spin on undulations road yesterday, and it weaves on boost there on..... white knuckle ride for sure.

its pokey and mighty scarey in this setup/chassis - feels as narrow as it looks. i forget how planted my ibiza feels in comparison with more power, buts its suspension/geometry and track width is very different. i think this car is scaring me more than my ibiza.
