not sure says i will get a letter within 10 days and then it will instruct me on what to do next
a think when you get your letter you go to the dvla wae your v5, tax disk and maybe insurance and youl get a new tax disk and that will be you.

Yeah, was it the whole grill with the chrome part round it or was it just the chrome part that you had before.

no probz mate, thts me got my private reg on, had a day of it already and its only 3 oclock.....went up to glasgow this morning and checked all documents b4 i left, got there and waited in the pretty big line and also spent money on parking (which in Glasgow is a fortune) got to the teller and she said i brought an old v5 and couldnt do anything untill i brought the newest one, "arrrghh" so i left drove the 25 odd miles back to Kilmarnock raided the house and got the latest v5....phoned dvla to check it was the rite one, shot off back to Glasgow and paid more parking and waited in more ques and finally got it dealt with, came home and shortend the plates down and filed the corners rounded and put them on....really happy with them. U'll see em at the meet next week.
i was going too but i prefer my plates shorter, and dont think you can get shorter pressed plates, these will do for now, £17 or so, not exactly alot

THe guy who did your paint work - how good is his work? I have a few bits to get done but I'm really fussy and not many places round about do a great job. I remember you saying he did the white Leon when we were at knockhill and it looked good, but its hard to tell without really looking.

its simons accident repair centre in Irvine.....i will pm u a telephone number and address....i have always used him before and not had any trouble. Alot of people i have recently spoke to seem to have been put off by him saying his work isnt as good as it used to be but i have never experienced any crap work from him so would still recomend him. Like i said will Pm you contact details. Yeah i have been at the gym alot recently so it does sit down there a bit.....thanks for the comments tho, always welcome.

You can get shorter pressed plates from No1 Show Plates (google)
Yeh looks good, tbh im fed up gettin plates that arent legal, and show plates defo arent legal, ive been done for no plates before and got a £30 quid fine, so mines should be legal now as thay state the place i got them, postcode and british standards agency logo on them, i know dub-meister do legal pressed plates but they are full length, al leave them as they are just now.
