I am still mapping it... which given the weather conditions this weekend, is proving tricky..
wet sheeting rain, with cheap ass tyres is not a recipe for traction with this setup.
4th gear wheelspin when boost goes over 1bar.

Its getting there.. violent little thing

Seeing 1bar boost at 3500rpm in 4th, by 4krpm 30psi & mad wheelspin... Am taming it down, but when its up its away... if only it could find traction that is.

just a thought.....rather than battling the elements, wouldn't an hour on a local dyno be more productive than trying to keep this animal on a wet, leaf strewn roads?

And more legal. As I'm sure anything over 3rd gear and it's over the 60 limit....

dynos are great for mapping if you know you can get 100% traction all the time, but if your trying to make for driveability, then nothing beats testing it on roads as that is the acid test

Maybe it's the god's hinting that you should buy a dyno Bill I can imagine that unless you've got good winter tyres though anything with any sortve power will be hard to map.

4th gear wheelspin in wet currently.. as soon as load builds it spins it away..
road logging and driving is the best final way of doing it imho, as the car drives on a real road not RR... However.. If I had the £30K I needed to buy a DD rolling road I would do so in an instant as its a great tool to use to do the main load checking, safe inside a dry building at daft wheelspeeds, strapped going no where and final trims if required on the real road logging.

aye.. I am not looking for "any old dyno" however, as a lot dont suit the Me7 or other load based ecu's.

how do you get on with it, seeing how its set with the very small display.. I could'nt make out which settings were record from still etc...

had about an hour playing did take abit of working out. only worked out the video setting for now display is very small as is the cam happy with it

Size of that intercooler pipework! Is it not going to blown those jubilee clips straight off? I've had to double jubilee all my joints just to keep the pipes on!
