No offence taken, mines all sorted now and think thats it for engine mods, my next mod will also be the subframe mount and then other chassis stuff.

Will be going with the vwracing track engine mount, herd it today courtesy of Mat ed30 from Mk5gti and OMG its well loud, sound like a proper loud mean growl inside the cabin, will be ordering one on Monday mornng, but it sure aint for the faint hearted thats for sure and thats just the lower one, I can only imagine that the full set would sound evil.

Have the VWR lower one, having the solid top 2 to stiffen it up and for the noise too :D

TSR fitted my Miltek Tbe. Does the BF non res sound much difference to the miltek?

Bit out of the way for you isn't it! (Bridgwater/Doncaster) Reckon my next mod will be the race engine mounts to tame the unruly beast under the bonnet!

Ordering it tomorrow, Having the solid lower one done maybe get the other 2 done at a later date, but i reckon the lower one should be enough for now. The sound is mean though .

Here's a scan of the 4th dyno run when the engine was getting a bit heat-soaked!

If i,m reading it right thats a really weird set of figures you have there.

364bhp with only 325lb/ft, and 299bhp @ the wheels

Dont think its the solid one, if not ill be upgrading in the new year as I love the sound that comes through the cabin!

Well thats where your going wrong, the subframe solid one is louder than all 3 of the fast road mounts put together i think ;).

I think bhp and torque are usually around the same figure with around 330 at the wheels and you should be able to make that with your mods kev, although dont hold me to the wheel figure am just guessing at 330.

The drag was high cos he had to really strap it down this time, last time with only 300bhp we only had 40bhp drag. Ist run showed 390 ft/lb of torque, but the car was kicking on the dyno roller so the corrected figure was all to ****! By the time we got it sorted, the engine was getting heat soaked so the ist thing to suffer is the boost which affects the torque, if I could be bothered I may go to Portsmouth to JKM, still a dyno lottery tho, main thing is a 60+ increase over stage one which was 299.5 bhp on the same dyno.........
