LED sidelights that WORK

are you a valve cap a holic then? :p

I wish, evey set is different, I think most of mine are now on kids bikes on the estate:cry:so i've gone for some black ones that hopefully won't stand out :clap:

The night breakers i got from ebay, for the high beam you need H1, not sure what the dipped is as I have xenons, they were £12 delivered, ordered them sunday night and they are now in the car

I got mine delivered yesterday and like everyone else i had problems getting them to work but instead of pushing them right into the holder just push the led in about 3/4 in and they should work.

I agree that its not very good you should have to fiddle around with them so much but they do work.

I spent over half and hour in the dark last night trying to fit them and at one point even dropped one into the void below but managed to recover it after taking half the bumper off lol.

They are working now and look the nuts i have to say.

Another trick is to plug the bulb in turn the ignition off and on and it seems to reset the bulb warning lamp.

Anyone else notice that with these LED's that you get 4 flashes when you switch on the ignition?

Spotted it today when the garage light was off, I switched on the ignition and I got 4 quick flashes of the LED sidelights :shrug: No errors though so thats OK.

yes nath, everyones will do it (wether theyve noticed or not is a different matter). its the 'lamps out' check. you dont see it with the filament lamps as the pulse isnt long enough for the filament to heat up.
