My MAF's now sitting 4-5" away from the DV return with a 3" coupler pipe between the MAF and TIP which seems to be doing the job. If you move the battery to the boot this gives you even more room to play with :D

Here you go darling: http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=198690

I'm sure I remember reading about other people complaining about this as well - first noticed by a quieter dump where the filter has become clogged with dirt. Just something to be aware of.

Just about finished my Ports on the inlets just gotta get some 600 wet & dry sand paper to roughen up the Inlet ports....AS you can see i just need to sorten out the one in the corner of the pic as my Dremel and Carbide Burr Blew up and nearly impaled me with a 1'' worth of metal...

Happy times...So ive got another dremel here just to neaten it up...

Should have my head done 2morro as it will only take a few hours or so......so it can all go back together finally

Do i go for something like this
:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Millers-CRO-R...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item29fe81530a

And is it a matter of running the engine in slowly (taking it easy) or Run it hard (acheive Max torque) in gears for the 1st 20 miles...?

thansk

While My Heads getting rebuilt i thought id Price all my bits up for when i started the big turbo conversion and Full uprated engine rebuild..

Excluding the labour and time for my self And a few small jobs ive had to pay someone else todo...

In the last 5 1/2 months ive Totally Spent £3593.64 which i thought wasn't bad considering ive had to buy tools, all new parts ect and a full entire engine rebuild:D...

also that doesnt exclude my brakes ect but just goes to show if you shop around and do it your self you can save a good amount..
