Q!

I Need Some Advice guys...

What experiance has anyone had with the IHI underslung manifold for room?

As my Best friend tottally smashed his p1 Subura up and hes now selling the parts it has a Zilla 20G on it at the moment would this fit or its it gonna be tight or even a Top mount jobbie?

I wasn't planning on spending any more money but its up for mates rates prices..
if that turbo uses a 60mm outlet on the comp side don't get it as it will surge like mad on yours.i had a similar blouch one that surged! changed to a 76mm outlet and it went straight away.

Also which is the biggest vf for power? As ive just thread the water coolant banjo bolt in the turbo...can it be re-threaded or is it ****ed?

Also i have a vf23 at the moment with p20 housing could i get a vf34 and swap the housing over as im looking for more power while its in bits...

Right im nearly there with it now thank god..

So tonight while i have a spare hour i started to take the Exhaust valves out which to my shire suprise it was really clean in there....Plus my Exhaust guides a uber tight and Don't look worn or scracthed? Odd indeed..

Out of the 8 exhaust valves only 2 were easy enought to just simpley pull out...

Anyway will be having a bash at the inlets 2morro and i can get it decoked and skimmed...I really woundnt mind smoothing the Ports out a tad and maybe port the inlet manifold....Is it worth it? i do have a dremel ect...

Anyway Nuff talk pics:

I'd love to know how many times you've threatened to sell/break your car or change turbos in this one thread - I'm f**ked if I can be assed going through every page to count though :p

Nice one Danny - glad my bra was a nice fit, it suits you ;)

Looking good mate. Just be careful about running a filter in the wing - not just for standing water but also with all the crap it gets covered in down there. Not good for a filter IMO

Someone posted a pic in the MK3 forum a while ago of a filter they'd stuck in the wing and it was covered in crap
