it will be runing again soon ,, ,,,with attempting more boost too lol my aim is 25psi , and i wont give up till i hit my target ,lol , i do personly know these engines hold it , ,the power it kicked up was a right eye operner ,i had major torque steer , basicly draging the caddy left to right up the road , so thought has to be a way , so i thought i know what will work , remove the driveshafts and make them both tubiler so they can only slightly flex , did this went for a spin , and wow , totaly differnert ,,,,it grip pulled and went fine with only very light torque steer , next thing was try the 4wd system ,, and i have to say it toaly transformed the caddy , amazed ,(evern if i say so myself ,lol) ill get some pics up of the build in progress ,,

:( sorry to read you've killed the engine...... but following this thread, not suprised you've already got another delivered!:worship: fair play to you!!!

was the fatal moment as you were turning left at the 1st roundabout in the vid?
that was a hell of a bang/clunk......

how did you cut the head spacer?
easy lol draw around a size bigger headgasket .i.e r32 golf which are 84mm bores , when i cut it out with the plazma cutter it leaves the bore holes to 82mm spot on the correct size , for my lump ,,

I'm so gutted that I don't have the time or tools to strip and build a motor... Something I've always wanted to do and will one day I hope.

Mega impressed with your efforts mate...

Dude! Epic! Fair shout for custom making everything! There's getting mods done, then there's making mods!

Good luck with the Caddy - what a beast when you get it done!

Will you not need a bigger intercooler for that sort of power?
