Took A trip up to Wayne Scholfield today to see about prices for mapping the IHI...

It came to £400 Inc V.a.t it seems he ''OWNS'' Chipwizards and he had a few BTCC touring cars in there that he was Mapping and Amougst Other cars....

Defo Seems to know His stuff but i am stuck for Choices...as theres 3 now...

I asked Him about the methanol & He supplies the Aqua mist kits But they aint as cheap as Bills..He said if i get a Methanol kit fitted & the Rods fitted He Tune the methanol in with the IHI..

But he wont make the Running of it Fully Depenant on methanol...

Interesting indeed

£400 is too cheap to spend long doing it.

Think about it in hourly rates, how long it needs to take him to do it properly etc.

He doesn't map touring cars though... maybe he has some old race cars on aftermarket ECU's - but that's another world away from ME7 stuff.

Ask him what tools he uses. How will he make sure the maf is scaled right etc.

Eaxctly what i thought Mork...

The one of many question i asked on the Peice of paper i took with me is has he done many BT 20vts? He Said quite a fair few..

The £400 mark has been plaqueing me all day as i remeber Hooch sayin to me a cheap map doesnt always mean a Good map..Plus When i spoke to caveo When JBS mapped his IHI it took roughly a week...

My mate who has a zilla 20g Scoob paid £760 Then the use of the dyno on top..So i can see your point of view mork

Im a few months off yet of it being mapped But bills & Rs tuning do seem Favourable...as i don't think JS would do it...

I can Budget for around £600 for a Map but i can save a few months longer if needs be...
