is bigger better? As if its worth doing, i might go for the PD150 intake. Would I be best to use the large EGR delete pipe?

Otherwise I'l give you a PM, but dont just go for the sale!

If you use a PD130/150 manifold you will need the larger egr replacement pipe.

i'll let you know on Monday if it was worth doing!

cool mate, my car is already mapped, and im gonna go for bosio .502's when funds allow.
havent really done any physical engine work yet, apart from replacing serpintine belt, tensioner, and alternator!, lol, so It would be a nice little job to do. Oh yeah, and drilled and smoothed my airbox...

Also, whats the intake noise difference? Better? louder? Woooshier? lol

noice. I was made up with my straight through pipe, not loud at all when normal driving, then just a nice deep rasp when its in its stride! Who needs miltek!

Also mate, i was wondering if you could take a pice of your decat? Is it a "custom" straight piece or did you buy one?
Just want to get an idea of what i need, as i can get welding done at a good price haha

(i try and do most things on the cheap haha)

My downpipe is a large bore milltek decat pipe 2.5" with a custom exhaust straight pipe from the downpipe back with a oval tip on the end, hope that helps :) Also saw your disks, looking good mate ;)

Intercooler will come once ive got money, pretty skint at the moment lol and also saving up money for my holiday at the end of the month :D

Cool mate, I'm interested in getting a large bore downpipe myself now. I just have mufflerectomy atm, makes a nice woosh noise, but i still think there's too much constrcition in the cat, for it to be a tremendous one. You can only hear if your behind it lol
Also, i think i have a slight leak in my lower intercooler pipe, the one where you have a "pancake pipe"
What would you do (or done when it was normal lol)

Where it joins to the upper pipe, its very oily, and it had come off its bracket, so i put it back on, tried to squeeze them together more, and hoped for the best. But its been playing on my mind..

Maybe thats the reason I'm not completly satisfied, considering the remap..

Nice one about the hols though mate! Off anywhere nice? :)

If you got the money, get the large bore as it will help the turbo get rid of heat quicker as it is bigger in diameter and also help the turbo to spin more freely, decat it, mines loud, but only on full tits lol.
I think i know what join you are on about, if so, you will always get a bit of oil around the joins, the OEM joins in my eyes are sh1t. This is why when i get my intercooler system, i will have no leaks all of it will be after market :) Maybe your maf sensor or something is fully reading  What power with a remap did your car make?
Im just going to turkey for a week, hopefully HOT HOT lol :)

ive not had it rolling roaded, they claimed it would be close to 150, My mate in work has a passat 130PD, and mine is deffinately quicker than his, so maybe i'd say its 130+ at least, realisticly. I got it done cheap though, as mates rates as sort them cheaper tyres when they come in. Ive forgoton their trade name, but they just came with a laptop, plugged it into the OBD port, and teh whole process took around 15-20minutes, with lots of turning the ignition on (not the engine) and off.

Maybe Ive just go used to it, they said it would adapt over time, and it did.. but dont know... it just seems, not as quick as id imagined it would of....

no it was a liverpool independant place. The guy who writes the software did it for me. Because of the amount of time, he most likely put a map on my car for an ALH engine VW Golf or sumthin, and cuz mine is ASV its pretty much the same, just different code as far as im aware... Only took like 20mins.

When I eventually get round to installing my injectors, do i NEED to get a bespoke remap to feel any difference? Or will it feel a bit more pokey straight away due to them being oversize?

what is your PD150 intake manifold off brad? is it a golf or from a cupra tdi?
Im struggeling to find one, might take a trip to Seat

My intake manifold is from a leon cupra tdi 150, but the leon 130/150 and golf mk4 130/150 will fit mate

SFS top intercooler pipe

Well yesterday, i went up to sfs and picked up this new hose, also ordered my turbo outlet pipe with one connector :)

Today i finally fitted it, was going to do it yesterday, but was too knackered from driving and stuck in traffic jams lol

Its 60mm diameter the whole length, so much more airflow :)
