Why not alloy?

I got this dirt cheap mate as they didn't have hardly anything it
stock, surprisngly they had this tho and I have the alloy pipes already, I'm going to remove it during the week and cut it down and put alloy on the straight lengths, basically the same as sfs have done with your pipework :)

Hi Brad,

Loving the ride, Where did you get the Strut Brace from? Is it an S3 one? Do you know if it would fit a 110 SE? How much was it?

Cheers

Hi mate
it's actually a Audi tt one, but this and the s3 will both fit ;) I got it from eBay for £20, can't go wrong :)

I'm not like you guys...
it shouldnt effect tracking. It will improve rigidity in the chassis, so should tighten up the handleing a little bit. Not sure as of how much it will improve it as I've not got one fitted, but have one in mind.

Either way, it wont do any harm if you fit it correctly

Hi mate
What car do you drive atm then :) The sound is purely made by the exhaust, i have no cat and no back box, so basically it lets everything free flow nicely and loudly and this sound is generated by the vains on the turbo etc whe lettting off the throttle :) hope that helps mate

As it stands, i don't currently drive a car, because i've only had 15 driving lessons, but i should be getting a black 1.4 16v golf mk4 OR leon 1.4 16v mk1, however i don't know if this is worth it? as they are not that fast, and cupra r body kit is another £350 i havent budgeted for etc. What do you think? Thanks a lot mate.

Cheers.

Cool mate, if i was you, get a 1.9tdi and remap, insurance is faily cheap on them, for my 110 when i was nearly 18, driving for 10months before i got mine, insurance was £1100 fully comp. Now its cheaper :) That link is for replica bumpers, stick to genuine, wait and be patience like i did, i got my front bumper in silver for £150 and back bumper for £33 ;) in yellow, but my mate sprayed it for me cheap. And for skirts i got from scrappy for £30. So whole kit cost me around £220. Let me know if you get the leon and ill keep an eye out for the bumpers etc for you mate ;)

Well after being on holiday for a week ive been thinking about the problems maz had with swelling of the boost pipes and i was thinking maybe my ths169 boost pipe may have swelled under boost and been rubbing. How right i was, it wasnt major, just tiny marks but it goes to show you that the pipes swell alot as i made sure my pipe was away, atleast a good inch or so from anything with a pointy edge. So today i got some metal pipe and done the same thing as Jonjay has got and what chrisgtl is also doing. Heres a few pics :) Also got another job for D.K [B)]

Only problem is the belt, the standard plastic pipe is so close to it, but i managed to avoid it with alot of room to spare :)
