Excellent
Probably the single coolest pic ive seen on this forum in ages

that looks nuts would make a good signature picture that.
glad your hybrid is working out well ash finally.
Have you got a pic of rolling road results yet mate? love the pics. I had a bit of clutch slip ealier was in third doing about 25mph thought i was in 2nd and hoofed it and nice smell of clutch. oops need to be more careful.
Just take a photo of the dyno sheet, Ash. Much easyer.
Looks like a dog having a pee... hahaha!!
glad all has gone well. you seam plaesed with the results. just be a bit harder to keep clean
fantastic figures mate! shame about the smoke though, but im sure downtuning it slightly will fix that, turkish's ran 247bhp from RsTuning and smoked quite abit too, but only above 3,000 rpm, is yours the same?
Couple of things you can do to clear the smoke.
1. Have water/meth injection fitted.
Think i'm going to do this. Just to decide wether to do it before or after the turbo.
2. Have the inlet manifold polished.
Was talking to the guy off here with the yellow hybrid Ibiza (mikey H?) at springfest.
His made no more smoke than a mapped 130, and was running nearer 260bhp.
Said it was real smokey until he had this done.
As for silicone grease on the MAF sensor, it will clean it up a little, but not to this extent. Done it on my car a few times, and made very little difference.
Do you ever say anything that isnt negative? Have you said the same thing to every hybrid owner on every single VAG forum?I am just waiting for the first who claims to have 280hp with stock injectors*g*
Polishing only the intake will not give any benefit, the flow capabilty of the cylinderhead is the limiting factor, already when going over 220hp, the flow around the valves reaches ultrasonic speed and instable flow conditions.
This is one more reason for calling numbers far over 220hp are nothing more than BS.....
