Orange would look good - but it's already been done....strugers1 has done his, plus i have a fair bit of blue on the car so it would all match

Turbo, clutch and flywheel are in the process of being fitted. Turbo IS fitted, as is the clutch. The flywheel just needs putting on and the lot being put back together.

And yeh i'm gonna drive it to RS without a hybrid map. Paul at RS has assured me it will be ok as long as i take it steady and dont use full throttle. I'm gonna keep the boost as low as possible. On the motorway it tends to sit at 6psi so gonna try it keep it under 10psi at all times.

Mapping will take most of the afternoon I think. It's booked in at 1pm on Friday and I imagine I'll be there most of the day.

As for the blue wheels - i dont think it'll ever happen. Just fed up of so many people having them now! The local club i go to, a lad has just put them on his Mk4 Ibiza so now they're 2 on one clubstand. Looks bad!

Wanna something a bit more bling but really dont know what to go for!

Kei RS5's. They are lovely, but they are Jap wheels and I think they wouldnt suit a VAG car. I dunno.....not the sort of style I want I dont think. I'd LOVE a bit of dish...

Try it as your spare. A lad on here did that with his LCR and I thought it looked horrible.

I'll be fine! I had a few problems with the turbo and it was nearly a no go for the hybrid again! But i managed to worm my way out of work, go to the garage where it was being fitted and do it myself! Got finished at 7 o clock tonight.

It is quite smoky at the moment though - but my god does the turbo sound nice I think the bad smoke is due to the mapping being all wrong for the turbo.

That's what Im hoping anyway!

I think BKR has his wheels white and I dont like it Plus - i wouldnt wanna keep white wheels clean.

I bloomin hate SMF's! They are SO noisy! I really havent missed it in the slightest. But it's the only thing that can handle it really! Should be worth it though

Yeah my SMF is rattley but its not to bad i am used to it now. Feels so much more sportier though. it sounds like a diesel rattle to me just tad louder. think of it as a sports car rattle lol
