Just bite the bullet and go for Helix and SMF if you want more power. If not, buy my Sachs plate. :D

You'll love remap! it's so much better than stock!

Just found this old pic of my car! Surprising how different it looks in comparison now! Think this pic was taken on the way to South West motorshow last year...

And how it looks now:

i think those lights are standard fr jobbies.....they look the same as mine anyhoo :) calipers and carriers looking good ash - im doing mine atm in hammerite smooth yellow, and by jingo you need quite a few coats to get a satisfactory finish! i have to put on about 4 coats....makes all the difference tho ;-)

I don't like those lights at all in the first pics - which type are they?

Cupra lights! I didnt like them either - they looked far too bright and the white was too much of a contrast with the black for my liking - much prefer the facelift lights. :)

Hammerite isnt that good. I used that when mine was red. Try engine lacquer! Finishes much smoother, much thicker and finishes glossy. :)

Probably asked you before Ash but what % are your tints? Yours look really good and I have got mine booked in next Friday for the rear 3 windows doing! :funk:

Erm, the fronts are dark as legally allowed. The rear's are 30% darkened and the back window is 50% darkened. I think that's right! I know it fades through anyway, the fronts are light, rear sides are darker and the back one is darkest. :)

Nice one! I might go for darkest rear and then lighter sides. Will see how much more it is to get the fronts done too. Cheers mate!

Apparently they're quite hard to do the Ibiza windows as they're really curved, so you have to shrink the tint to get them to fit without creasing. I dont mind cos i didnt do mine and they look pretty mint! :D

But yeh, most people seem to just have 3 back windows one shade, but it's a bit different if you have the back one darker and then fade it through - doesnt look as obvious.

Just not sure how the darkest on all 3 windows will look, bit of a van maybe? Will have a chat with the bloke doing it and see what he says!

Darkest on all 3 looks bad! I did it on my classic Mini and really regretted it a year on. I'd say for your car, having them dark isn't gonna suit the colour. I'd go for a 70% visability tint. Then it's dark and has a nice shade to it, but you can still see in. Will make it look alot classier than jet black tints.

Good advise. :D I will either go for light tint all round or darkest on rear and light on sides. Cheers mate!

what ya havin done just the clutch or ya havin some thing else

RS are just doing the mapping. Getting the turbo and clutch fitted two days before.

Paul at RS has told me to drive carefully with the PD150 hybrid on on this map as boosting it loads wont do it many favours as air/fuel will be all to **** until it gets mapped to suit. So just gonna plod up nice and steady. :D

It's taking FOR AGES though! Seems ages away! HURRY UP HYBRID DATE! Get closer!
