Just finished reading all posts on this thread and a very interesting read. My question is has anybody done this mod on a LC who has a Forge Splitter DV? with the relocation kit to the coldside.?? My DV is near the front of the car near the grill but will the method be the same??

i did this bypass to my 225 cupra, it has had a stage 1 remap and a forge 007p. It played havoc with my car!!!!! it felt hesitant under acceleration and the turbo didn't feel half as strong as it was before . Anyway took it to my local specialist and he said it shouldn't be bypassed, it threw up a diverter fault code, he restored it to pre-bypass state and cleared the code and now it runs sweet as a nut again, massive improvement. Filled it with super unleaded and a tub of octane booster and it fly's with no hesitation and the turbo feels alot stronger all the way through the rev range. Just thought i'd put my experience into the pot incase anyone else has the same problems, big thanks to David Goddard at thetford for his help! :D

im having trouble with my car. exactly the same symptoms. gonna go put it back to pre-bypass and take it for a drive. will report back asap

does seem to boost better now. maybe me and swamp46 are doing it wrong. not sure how tho as the diagram is pretty straight forward to follow. cant think of any other explantion as to why it would work on MOST and not on 2 lol

Now all you need to do is get rid off the evap, secondary air and the other valve that sits next to the N429, it makes the bay look a lot less cluttered. Oh and Mr Greesha i disagree it is there to look pretty :p

yea not sure why it didn't work on mine, i'm pretty sure i did it right aswell, followed the guide. Mine has not played up since david put it back to normal and cleared the fault code. i will leave it now as i don't want to upset it again! :)

Disconnect pipe that goes from valve to top of Dump Valve and disconnect small pipe that goes into the T-piece that on top of the valve. Connect together, job done!!!

I have done this and just put the small pipe into the larger one and taped up at the moment, working fine but want to make a better job, I have read that you use a 6mm pipe connector, but the ID of the larger pipe is 4mm and the small one is even smaller prob about 3mm, how do you connect the pipes without replacing the small one that goes into the intake? Or am I best just leaving as is with it just being taped up?

can some 1 put a guide with pics if possible of how you remove the valve and stop getting a fault code.just to tidy it all up. thanks

I have a week off to fit a whole heap of goodies and do just this (week after next) i'll put some guides togeter then, also doing the alternative centre gauge pod one too (Finally as i started about 6 weeks ago)

Any requests then fire away and if I have time for everything i'll get it all on here!

I may also do some before and after maps/logs if stealth/revo have the roling road time?? but we'll see on that one. be interesting to see inlet temps/boost pressure with pipework and fmic etc.

i'll be in touch Phill, keep some space in your inbox (I know your a busy man) I live nr Coventry. -- Rugby to be exact)

Anyone own a Black Cupra R and travel on the A45 in the Daventry direction?? bad luck this morning if so :cartman:
