I suppose! Then I can get the clutch and hybrid turbo fitted at the same time, then drive up to Leeds to get it mapped. Then it'll wear the clutch in a bit before it gets some serious abuse!

I'd go for a single mass helix setup if your having it mapped by RS.
They make genuine high figures, and from what others have said, the sachs one struggles with the torque.

I think the ammount of noise with a SMF is determined by the condition of the gearbox.
I believe its the primary input shaft that rattles, and if this is worn, it allows more movement and rattle.
My flywheel makes more noise than Mark's, despite being an identical setup. You get used to the noise though.

It did. Like for the first 1000rpm in 1st.

And my SMF rattled REALLY bad! So my gearbox must be 5hagged!

Wicked you going to make sure its the right one this time

I am! I have the turbo and it says GT1749VB on it so I KNOW I'm sending off the right turbo and I know what I'm gonna order. Then I'll get a new clutch/flywheel setup, then get the turbo and clutch fitted at the same time, then I'll drive up to Leeds and get it mapped. That should give the turbo time to prepare itself for misery! And the clutch to prepare itself for grief!
