You can see the charge pipe needs altering as the pipe runners rise up high in the pictures. the picture on the golf passes the pipe down the back of the engine like they do, LCR's dont route that way as std, so routing the outlet slightly fwd would be the probably way.
1" internal runner diameter does'nt look like whats on the pictures tho.. Port exits are 32mm from memory, so 25mm internal ID is quite a lot smaller than the port..
What wall thickness material are they using?
back purge is essential 'good practice' to ensure defect free TIG weld with full penetration and no carbonising
I would most certainly go for ceramic coating tho, given that radiant heat that will come off those runners will nuke anything meltable in sight.
