i thought the rollers were gonna save you the job
I was thinking about yours this morning - that holed hose was facing the exhaust manifold - you could do with a piece of that heatproof sleeving round the outside of the replacement.

Nice to see the water/methenol doing its job Dave. Im still waiting to taking advantage of mine (sorting out other issues first). Are you running revo sftware? I guess you wacked the timing up? What sort of timing pull are you getting if any?
.....I'm running T9 on Revo stage 3 plus 7.5 degrees Unisettings. Revo isn't controlling boost, that's on an mbc.
.....Yes, timing whacked up, I'm not getting any CFs at all at the moment. Zeros across the board.
That really is impressive, so you haven't even found the limits of the methanol potential yet.I'm not getting any CFs at all at the moment. Zeros across the board.
Yeah - and you what happens when the wmi fails............
Looking at these at the moment....
second nozzle after throttle body - small one before to cool the charge - bigger one after to inject wmi as fuel (yes, the other way round to what they say)
safety kit

Those look very interesting mate.
You have got me thinking about wmi now, once I get a TB exhaust
Damn you.....
You know methanol does strange things to your brain though.......
I'm considering getting it remapped to suit the methanol system now, rather than a turbo upgrade.
Have you had it corner weighted, Dave?
I think that is the most sensible way forward for your state of tune. To achieve the next level of power gain from a new turbo install will cost silly money and would it feel worth it, probably not.
New rods, custom remap and the limits of the methanol mapped to suit should find you at least another 20 bhp. Who would you trust the mapping to though.
Weight distribution looks to be more like 40/40. The other 20% is being taken on the skirt/kerb....
I DO like that White Polo...
Do they do that by balancing the car on a kerb?
Still more fun to be had with this. The drawback with my eliminator + map is the late spool - not helped by advanced timing making flooring the car below 3,500 a no-go area.
A custom map maybe wouldn't solve the problem, but it would ease it. I've got a mapper in mind who would allow me a bit of input into the spec...... I'd prefer to buy another ecu to do it on though - then I've still got Revo Stage 3 if it doesn't work out.
