If you can flex a silicone pipe enough to see a difference you're a bodybuilder :)

Rubber flexes/inflates like a balloon at high boost (over 1 bar). Silicone hardly does

What about fitment for a lc anyone? Can you route the pipe back to the left handside, on the the intercoolers where the inlet and outlet are on the opposite ends or is there not enough room and have to have one like the forge one which has them both on the same side of the end tank?

Space inside front spoiler is very cramped, routing a pipe backwards is not an option. Asked the same question 1 year ago on this forum :) Those people who had fit a large FMIC on a LC routed the pipe inside the engine space and brought it vertically between radiator and engine to go into the throttle body. For a LC/LFR you need either a FMIC with both inlet and outlet on the same side or an uprated SMIC (but nor from Forge, try Boost Factory or Tyrolsport)
