The windows were not open as well were they ?
i know where you are going with this...
from the description above it seems not, so its not the security issue..
however it would be good to know!

i believe that where people have delocked the car. If the central locking blew a fuse and was deadlocked, you cannot get to the fuse box as you need to open the door.
So they relocated the fuse.
not a security issue.
The windows weren't open...
Presumably the security issue has something to do with causing the windows to open from outside the locked vehicle...?
Of course that doesn't mean they weren't opened, just that when we found the vehicle they were closed.
If the intention was to steal the vehicle initially and it was raining, then it's possible they were opened and then closed afterward...
I'm just damn confused, anyway. T'other half swears blind it was locked and the doors were checked when it was left the previous night, so I have no idea what the hell happened. Planning to go and see the dealer and get the car checked tomorrow, anyway. If anything comes up I'll post the info!

It removes the deadlocks. I only found this out as on my old car, pressing twice activated the deadlocks - so much for industry standard......
If you want to deactivate the interior sensors, press the button on the pillar to the right of the drivers seat
alarms are def worth the assurance,
i didnt know about locking twice deactivated the deadlocks,, thought it activated , then someone said it de activated the interior sensors???
