Never done anything like that before, never done logs either, but will try soon and see how it goes.

Latest pics, got the oil catch tank moved and the re-circ. hose sorted so it's back on the Bailey DV30:

Forge are making me up a custom DV hard pipe so it will look even neater in its final location.

Also finally got the car properly cleaned and waxed:

What products you using Menzerna??

Where did you get your mud flaps from or did you make these?
I think I've asked you this before but cannot remember the answer

For this detail I used Clearkote products, vanilla moose and natty's blue really look great.

EVO 6 mudflaps off eBay, fit great.
How do they fit Rob...just use the arch liner screws? Guessing you got 4 all round?

Is it true that this programe will only work with a usb vagcom cable or will a serial cable work aswell?

4 yes. I drilled my own holes in them as the EVO holes didn't really line up with anything. They are pretty thick material so drilling was easiest, then just weatherproof screws into the liners.
Thanks for the info.

I had Forge make me up a custom DV pipe, off-the-shelf pipes are all too short so Forge made me one upon request. After a week it arrived:

So I fitted it and it has tidied up the DV setup a treat! Big thanks to Peter and the folks at Forge - top-notch service as always. :D

I also got Goodridge JIC fittings and hose from Merlin Motorsport to finish off the Bailey DV30, underneath the SEM manifold the hose goes to screw in JIC fittings too - awesome!

Lastly I've got all the oil fittings and adapters now to do my catch can hoses and fit the 034 valve cover now. I'm using Mocal fittings rather than Goodridge, mainly because they are 1/3 of the price and do the same job:

Next large-ish job over the winter is the oil cooler. :)

Got the wrinkle-coated cam cover and coilpack heatshield fitted, I sprayed the heatshield with VHT black paint on the outside only, I wanted the bare stainless steel to absorb some heat from underneath but reflect it from above. I love the matt finishes of both! I also eliminated a silicone elbow in the IC pipe run by fitting another stainless pipe, hose join is temp. until the proper one arrives.
