it is a massive step and a flamin costly one too will also take the whole year and probably a snip of 2009 to complete it but i feel that it would make mine one of a kind and also give me no limits on what i want to do in the future

guessing il be getting a written off a3 quatro or tt and welding new floor pan in and then all the electrics and shafts ect swapped over redesign the exhaust ect ect ect massive massive job and a real headach but hey what a mod!

be running around the same for now.
but much more reliable

the plan over the next few years is

2008-get car running 350bhp reliably
2009-internals and bored out to 1.9 will be completed
2010-4x4 convertion
2011-massive turbo 450bhp+

Nice to hear you'll be keeping it for a bit then.... :)

Amazing plans for the Cupra rash.

Hopefully you should be able to get some info on the 4-wheel drive conversion on the web, as their have been a couple of companies who've converted a Fabia vRS to 4WD and ofcourse the Fabia WRC is 4-wheel drive.

Best bit is that is you would be converting the rear suspension to fully independent which combined with 4WD should make for one seriously good fun handling car.

your all feeling the 4x4 then

mixupz wouldnt say by the end of the year maybe end of next year tho ;) looking into a3 quatro 1.8t's now will need a written off one as il need pretty much everything

fuel tank, floor pan, prop shaft, driveshafts, wiring, sensors, diff's, rear suspension omg sooooo much  BUT it would be certainly diffrent and allows me to increase the power further down the line :D

guiness im not commenting on your question

I would say just buy an A3 and convert it, but i feel half of the forum may come after me... aha

Plans sound good though mate, cant wait to see them in action
You still working on interior/styling of it? Or is that put on hold for now

youd exspect an a3 to be 4x4 as its standard so its not a big deal but in an ibiza which is probably lighter than an a3 and has never been in 4x4 production really would make it a jaw dropping car i like having things that are diffrent! so doing it to an a3 yes would be 1 hell of alot easier and cheaper but the final outcomeis bland this is somthing that will take time and alot of money id imagine!

the styling is on hold yes  specially as il be cutting the floor out ect  people will rightly grill e for not just buying an a3 or a tt but i want something a bit more special :D
