Yeh I've bought some McGuard ones off ebay for £29 delivered which isnt a bad price cos they seem to be round £31.99 everywhere else.

Read a good review on Auto Express website, and then watched a video on youtube about how easily cheap ones could be taken off. I was shocked lol. Whats the point in the cheap ones if theyre that crap!!

Mark, how many turns are you getting out of the bolts once they're in the hole compared with the old ones?
Im getting 9 or 10 full turns out of mine, and if you look at the threads you wouldn't really want to settle for much less...

I counted that i was getting 3 turns originally.
I bought new bolts within about 10 minutes of realising that those 3 turns equated to about 5mm...

Hey guys, thought id say hello as I haven't ben on for a couple of weeks. Just got back from the home of our beast's... Spain, or Magaluf to be precise!
Saw quite a few ibizas as you can imagine, plenty of the new mk5 which im really liking and few MK3's, although only 1 'modded' one. It wasn't a cupra but was a half hearted attempt but had the weirdest spoiler i've ever seen! Couldn't get a pic of it but was like a boogey-board sitting over the back window!

anyone know how much paint is needed for spraying a cupra spoiler? just thinking if i have enough left over from my bonnet i may invest in a cupra spoiler? lol was just in the dealers and ordered myself an lcr splitter, the sales guy said they have had quite a few guys with novas in buying them recently. if they can make a lcr splitter fit a nova then i WILL make a golf vr6 splitter fit [:@] lol

Finally got my locking wheel nuts, and so my alloys are now properly fitted.

Can't belive the difference they make to the cars looks. And I've also noticed if feels more steady on the road and seems to corner better. So all is good.

Here's some proper pics!

Ignore the missing fog lights, they're currently on top of a radiator drying out. You may have heard we've had some rough weather in N.I. lol

Looking really smart with those alloys on! And yeah it's a huge difference moving from the standard 14s up to bigger wheels and wider tyres etc.
Just need to get her lowered now!
