would 400 be asking too much???? remember, no FMIC or exhaust, just a K03s lol

(private joke if you wasn't at edition - possibly one of the funniest things ever)

ive got a couple of questions???

ive got a silver 1.4mk3 ibiza that some of you have seen,

i was just wondering if the rear bumper is the same as the rear cupra bumper just with the bottom half unpainted??

and is it possible to change my rear spoiler for a cupra one, or is it a serious bodyshop job???

i just really like the look of the cupras, wa thinking i mite just get my rear bumper painted and get the front splitter painted and then get some cupra skirts, so it wont look like a cupra wannabe, just a smart 1.4s :D

Rear bumper is the same as a Cupra except Cupra's have the exhaust cut out as well as being fully colour coded.

Rear spoiler can be changed, Adam did it, not sure how much work it involved though.

I have my bumpers all colour coded take a look at my thread, in my sig below, to see what it looks like. Also Adam has some pictures of his a few pages back.

Riko you make it sound like it's something we're all reluctant to do!

If I had the money I'd have a Cupra! lol

Lol, soz didn't mean it to sound like that!
To change the spoiler it's simply a case of undo 2 bolts inside the the boot near the hinge, pull spoiler partly away, unplug 3rd brake like cable, then do reverse with new one! Took me 5mins on the 1.4. Subtle but makes a biig difference imo!

wiked,

well the only hard part is actually finding theese parts, ive hunted the internet but i cnt find anyone breaking a silver mk3 ibiza cupra,

does anyone have or know were i can get theese parts??

in silver!!!

cupra rear spoiler
cupra skirts

if anyone has any of theese parts let me know,
i have cash waiting,

also does anyone know how much i should expect to roughly pay to have the bottom of my front and rear bumpers painted??? thanks

Good look finding a spolier and skirts in silver second hand. Cupra bodyparts tend to be like golddust lol.

I think if you search prices for colour coding were mentioned somewhere previously in this thread. Not too sure though. My dad sprayed mine for free!!!:p

On another note, got my 20mm spacers fitted today. And my cupra suspension will hopefully be here on Friday.:funk:

it all depeds on what i can (or in this case 'cant' afford).

will need to take out a loan and max im going is £3k loan and im hoping to get £2k for my car due to the rarety of the inners plus its looking really nice due to its paint correction.

so a total of £5k (which must help out with insurance too).
im tempted by a good old DC2 but they are still a little pricey.

i would go for a mk3 cupra but people seem to think they are worth a lot more than they really are... as in they are still £5k ish.

dunno, i may go back to japanese but not sure if i want a turbo or not.....

any suggestions for a car under £4k ?

adam, if you get 2k for it and taking a 3k loan, that's 5k ;)

remember, there's that mint Ovni Cupra with 49k on Isle Of Wight. Take it dude, you know you want to. It's only £3,750

You can still pick up a decent cupra for well under 5k. I got mine for 4k and it's bloody mint with very tastey mods! I guess you could argue a turbo'd car is more of a headache, but (touch-wood) mine is going very strong with 80k on the dials...

i know riko, BUT i could but a civic with over 200 pony's which is NA and is better on fuel than the VAG.
yes i know honda's are not torquey but they make up for it in pure rev happy fun.

i know when i drove my dad's S2000 it was so much fun booting it in a gear from 4000rpm all the way to 9,200 rpm.

i may try and get an S thinking about it, dunno if i could pick one up for £5k though.
