If you want extra performance RaceChip GTS Black works out a little cheaper obviously minus the other bits and pieces for the ABT £60K!
None of the ABT donor cars have Beats or Pan Roof got a reply from Cupra UK.Did any of the donor VZ3 cars for the upgrades come with sunroofs? Looks like none of them did?
Also did they all come with Beats?

My friend, this is not true at all, increase in power first of all means more fuel, not just more air, if you make the mix poor with more air than fuel, in order to claim savings in fuel, then the engine will soon fail. Simple as that. The way it works is that an increase in power means the engine has to work less to achieve similar performance in addition theoretically it is using less fuel for that performance, manufacturers scale engine performance to suit all conditions and outright performance is not one of those conditions as reliability has to be factored in, aftermarket tuners use the opportunity to fill in areas where extra performance gains can be made again they also have to factor in a certain amount of reliability as customers would not take to kindly to find gaining extra power resulted in a short lived engine,
I'm really interested as to how you get on with the car as time goes by. Great car for the money. Any pictures would be nice. I'm thinking about buying one as spring approaches. Keep us in the loop and congratulations.Hi, I am a new member and have just purchased the Formentor ABT edition car. It was pre-registered and had just 37 miles on the clock when I picked it up yesterday. I payed just under £41k for the car which I thought was a pretty good deal. I haven't driven many miles as yet to give my thoughts on the car but will do in due course. I have traded from a Cupra Leon VZ3 St 310 and I am keen to see how the new car compares. I think earlier in this thread someone mentioned that ABT changes were not seen as modifications. I asked the dealership if I should declare the changes to my insurers and they recommended that I did as the changes were made at the dealership and not at the factory. I mentioned the changes to my original insurers and they advised me that they couldn't insure me for that vehicle. Good news is I did a Go Compare quotation request and have ended up with Admiral who have provided the cover for £140 cheaper than last year's premium for the Leon. Happy days.
Hi Dave will keep you updated. I think I am going to try and run things in gently for the 1st 1k miles. Will add some pictures in due course as car already a little grubby from the weather. If you are thinking of getting one dont leave it too long as there aren't that many left out there and you may need to travel to get one. I was lucky my local dealer had one advertised on Auto trader.I'm really interested as to how you get on with the car as time goes by. Great car for the money. Any pictures would be nice. Cheers, Mearsi. Yes I've been watching the market very closely. The prices vary quite a bit from dealer to dealer. Enjoy the car.Hi Dave will keep you updated.
