drove it sat when he bought it, but it was raining, so only did straight line acceleration.

he came round last night (only been in 2mins after show) and went round a few twisties near us. It's pretty sweet. He thinks he's keepin it standard. But i've told him to get ARBs and Coileys at least.

Dunno how well they can be tuned.

BTW: Was it you at the meet yesterday? If not, who was the lad with the red non cupra?

yeh he has a black cupra now lucky bugger lol

the only other possibilites apart from me and adam are fcuknafe gordz ibiza and v15nev.

Lol I barely know anyones real name and I've probably left someone out.

Theres a distinct lack of NI meets as far as SEATs are concerned but I think I will probably attend this mega 2009 national meet that is in the pipeworks.

Been playing around on Confused.com again

At the moment, I'm paying about £40 (about £550 for the year) a month on my 1.4. Just been looking at Cupra's and CupraR's

Oh, and a special car. Here are the quotes.

Citroen C1

£237.93 (£21.81 a month)

-----

Cupra
at my address

£532.35 (£46.89 a month)

-----

Cupra
at our lasses address - my new address lol

£563.83 (£49.67 a month)

-----

CupraR

£972.30 (£85.59 a month)
:-o

-----

Mk4 FR TDi 130

£338.84 (£31.06 a month)

-----

Mk4 Cupra TDi 130

£663.60 (£53.13 a month)

-----

So at the mo, I know I can seriously start looking for a cupra or mk4 fr without having to worry about the insurance :funk:

God I soooo need more power!

I know, it sucks being 19 lol.

Thinking of all the money I've spent on buying the car and insuring it over the past 2 years I could have probably bough a really nice Cupra R, or even a Leon Cupra lol. But sure you've gotta start somewhere!

Just a pity oap's are paying a few hundred a year and are as likely to cause an accident, juding by how my granny used to drive!

I had mine at 19, a few months before turning 20. don't understand why some pay so much. I'm 23 now (24 in nov).

Also, looking back, had I known then what I know now, I would have probably spent a bit more and got a 1.9 TDi seeing as the insurances are the same(ish)

Wooo!!!!

Flew through MOT today! Just got 2 advisories. Rear nearside side tyre which I knew about, and grease brake pipes & chassis at the back or summat to prolong their life

Great stuff Mat, its always a relief when it passes.

I think car insurance, is generally higher in NI anyway. Even though i read somewhere that we have less car crime.

I shop around every year for insurance. Was with Endsleigh but am now with Quinn Direct, they seem to be the most reasonable for young drivers and it comes with free breakdown assistance.

By the way no one on here has a black n.ireland plate ibiza that was drivin down a41 near chester??? number plate BJZ something i think. Didn't look like a cupra, but couldn't tell coz it looked like it had been driven straight through halfords with bits of plastic hangin off everywer coz of crap body kit they'd put on!!!!
