these are the sizes, u want a 272 festoon and two 501s the same as the sidelights although as you have proberly read the two 501s dont turn off completely

Nice one. Presume the festoon style are for the number plate? How hard was it getting the internal bulb covers off?

youll need the size i gave you for the number plates and the interior 1 although the number plates wont work because of the bulb failure **** system, and you will need a 264 festoon for the boot if you want to do the boot that is. use www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk they are good and have everything you will need bar the resistor packs

the internal bulb cover isnt too bad you need a small flat bladed screwdriver to pry at the sides start at the two ends furthest away from the mirror and it should pry out, just be careful

Cool okay mate. Presume you mean the plastic moulding not the glass area. Have just tried doing this with a slim flat driver and it doesn't feel like its ever going to come off! Any other tips?

The W5W bulb would be right i'm not sure the resistor is correct. I went for the PIAA option in the end due to concerns on connection & heat. If your a competent sparky then that route may be fine, but i'm certainly not going to start chopping wires when i can pay for a far better version that is plug & play

I'm sure it's a simple job and the guides from Mauro early on in this thread look pretty easy to carry out. It's up to you. Those W5W would however work in the front internal reading light without needing any resistor.

im a sparky but i wouldnt chop wires thats y i bought the piaa kit in the end its up to you guys in the end but unless u no for sure that the resistor is the right size u gota be careful, if you put too much resistance on the circuit the cable could start to degrade because of the heat and the cable size. rather than chopping the cables have a look for sum cable splizing kits i will try and find you a link for sum they basically allow you to connect stuff into the circuit but are removable and keeps you away from cutting the cables full stop. plus they are pennys i think.

moley the clear plastic bit is the bit that comes off you gota keep trying different angles, trust me i did it fine without leaving a mark and ive taken it off like three times now.

As promised, taken whilst just getting dark last night. Look stunning is real life with a superb blue tint to them whilst remaining pure, pure white. Make my Bluevision sidelight bulbs look like yellow indicator bulbs!
