Juat recieved the PIAA lights and thge actual part where the light sits in itself doesnt not fit into its place, because of the 2 little locating lugs on the side, if they were trimmed they would fit but dont fancy choppin them up... anybody else had these problems?!

push harder  mine went in after a bit of persuasion ;)

I know but im clueless with electronics and last thing i wanna do is knacker something in me new car, and for the sake of £45 id rather pay the money n just slot them straight in, tis only £45 :)

why are people scared of wires? the worst you'll have to do is chop and strip a wire, which a baby monkey could do. it will take 2 minutes more and will have exactly the same result as the PIAAs

fair enough, you don't want to start re-wiring the whole car but fitting a resister (which is pre-wired anyway) is just too easy. I seriously can't believe you'd rather spend £45 more for the PIAAs

I've just ordered some of the led bulbs and resistors off the bay myself . . .

From past experiance of cheap LED side lights, I've found they dont last more than a few months before they fail or start flickering at least.......

I've had my PIAA in for about +/- 6months now with no issues what so ever:)

For me the ease of just Plug & Go makes the extra cost worth while.

not wanting to burst bubbles, but I did this mod, and next to the standard headlights, they look stupid. like a really bad chav mod. . . . 'ultra bright white LED' sidelights next to yellow headlights.

However, I must agree, the pic above looks pretty damn sweet, that's why I did it originally . .

the standard headlights look pretty white anyway in my opinion, but next to "ultra white LEDs" they look a yellow, and they look naff together . .

they looked so stupid that I resorted to getting HIDs to match them! after realising that standard reflector headlight units are really NOT compatible with HIDs (FAR FAR too bright) I resorted back to fully standard, which is where I'll stay. the standard lights are sweet anyway, and (now - not before) in my opinion if you mod them, they look cheap tacky and chavvy.
