the date for the install is flexible, so if worst case scenario the wheel does not turn up on time then it can be put back till it arrives, so all good

I have no idea

Why has this post been moved to lifestyle and leisure? and not under the BT section for example i.e. like Hooch's or is this not classed as a build thread or BT turbo install anymore.....

guys, just wondering if you can help me out with the parts check list here (just i dont want to arrive at the tuner on monday and have forgotten to purchase anything!)

ok, so for the install I have (including mods on the car already, see page 1 for spec list) :

4bar FPR
Walbro fuel pump
225 injectors
ATP Turbo (with kit and parts)
necessary gaskets, bolts etc
JBS Manifold
ATP TIP

That's it I think......

Can't really see anything as long as you have new bolts etc for the manifold and the exhaust DP fits onto the new turbo alright.
I'd check your oil and water levels, give the hose clamps a we bit more tighten to ensure no boost leaks, check tyre tread and pressures.
Is your throttle body clean and reset?
Plenty of nice new 99 RON petrol

ah yes sorry guys, I have a 32 MAF housing as well, DOH, I knew I missed something off the list!

thanks Junior, all that stuff will be done by the tuner when they fit and map the car

so....seems everything is in order...now all I need is the car back

wow, what service from Forge, order placed on the saturday morning, and good arrived today!

well a few developments today

the oil and water cap have been sent back to Forge, far from impressed on the scuffed and scratched finish on the two caps! if you compare the finish to the struts, you can see what they should be like Anyway Forge are swapping them out

good news though, hurrah I hear you say!

The car is going to be ready tomorrow, and then off for the magic and fun to begin on the car on the 21st July (mon)

I am picking her up on 25th July (fri) as long as everything goes ok.......

so it will be a nice birthday present if everything goes well as its my birthday on the 26th July

one more shiny piece to finish off the engine bay is too arrive, but will take a few weeks to come due to stock - Forge Carbon Fibre engine cover

progress with figures hopefully will be posted up next week.....
